I wondered if they were one of the companies. What do we do in place of them?

I’ve had to have my backups restored twice - the first time without much of a hitch and just two weeks ago, a real nightmare. My docs (Excel and Word) were in pictures - pictures were all over the place. They had to take remote access of my computer to sort out Windows Live Mail and it took 4 people to accomplish it properly.

Is there another choice out there for offsite backups?

I think it's called MOZY. I'm on my 3rd Carbonite renewal now, heard about it from Rush.

They may regret their action.

SOS Online Backup is highest rated by PC Mag. http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2288745,00.asp

I’ve never used them.
