A flower company is the seventh advertiser to pull its ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program in reaction to his derogatory comments about a law student who testified about birth control policy.
ProFlowers said Sunday on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program...

“If someone finds buying $0.25 condoms and $8 for a month supply of generic birth control pills a financial burden, how many times are they likely to spend $39.95 for a dozen roses each month?”
And how likely is it that they can afford a hoity-toity law school?
Go Rush! Will be tuned in at 12 noon sharp today!
AGREED. And Beck too. Solidarity.

I’ve never used them.
If I were Rush, juyst to make a point (and get even) I would offer deeply discounted advertising rates to new advertisers...and charge triple the rates to the ones who left, if they want to come back.
How.is the left failing? Two sponsors dumped AFTER the apology.
Check put MOZY.
“We were looking at Sleep Number beds to replace our aging bed. Not after this, and they will be getting a call later”
We bought one and hated it. We returned it within two weeks and had a hard time doing that. We bought it because of the advertising on Rush’s show.
A funny tidbit amidst all the drama. CEO is Bill McLaughlin. He took over around 2001 and led a huge turnaround. He advertised with Rush. Ironically, he’s stepping down in a couple of months.

Very true. He expressed regret at his choice of words. Of course the rats will continue to yap about this forever, but now the "slut" won't be able to claim libel or defamation. The sponsors that bailed will be quickly replaced.
Pro Flowers is a ripoff anyway. They advertised $19.99 which really turned out to be $34.99 after all the added charges. Plus they then turned around and SPAMmed me up the backside with promo garbage for themselves and all of their sister companies (Sherries Berries, Vermont Teddy Bear, etc.)
Game, set, match...rip EIB network....you fell for the trap...slut and prostitute? democratic shill would have been sufficient language...
BTTT
No, double the cost of their ads, bring attention to them, and laugh when they are coming up next!
facebook your comments too!
hit them in the social media.
if you don’t have facebook make an account just for this purpose. (there are disposable email sites and you don’t have to use your own name)
remember this is NOT about contraception, this is about ABORTION AS CONTRACEPTION.
Some of the sponsors have "suspended" their support of the show, which means that they will probably return. Given Obama's involvement and the MSM making this a huge story, Rush will have to weather a tough storm. Fluke is just a pretext to get Rush. Her personal story is really irrelevant.
I just notified ProFlowers that I would no longer be buying their products and would encourage others to do likewise.
I told them that Mr. Limbaugh had the right to express his opinion on his radio show. Just as they have the right to remove their sponsorship, I have the right to never buy their products again.
