The only surprise that came with my screening of "Game Change" was in the realization that HBO chose to remake the sci-fi/horror film "The Hidden." For those of you who haven't seen this 1987 cult classic, it's about a dangerous alien who comes to Earth determined to become president of the United States. The alien is crass (it loves red sports cars), unsophisticated (it loves heavy metal) and it speaks in single, bewildered syllables because it doesn't understand the world around it. But while the alien might not be educated, its ruthless survival instincts manage to get it within grasp of its insidious goal, thanks to a senator seeking the presidency.

HBO's message is simple: you’re either with the cool, smart, classy, sophisticated kids who stand against Palin, or you’re with The Mob, the rubes, the snake handlers, the [snip].
Now that I've actually had a chance to screen HBO's "Game Change," I can tell you without any hesitation that if you've seen the trailer, you've seen the movie. The film is nothing more than an extended version of those 107 seconds; for around two hours, Governor Palin is demonized, dehumanized, slandered and maliciously morphed into something unrecognizable - a petty, joyless, snippy, unstable, moronic political mercenary.
Essentially, what HBO and company have done is to bring to life that which justifies the darkest part of their own incapacity to see the humanity in those who might threaten the reelection of Barack Obama.

HBO has not produced an “Avatar”-style piece of propaganda. That’s chicken feed. This is “hook-nosed, money-grubbing Jew” propaganda. This is “over-sexualized ‘negro’ eying white women” propaganda. This is “gold-toothed, greasy smiling Mexican bandito” propaganda. HBO has aimed its flame thrower and fired in order to strip Governor Palin of her humanity and to reveal to the world - just in time after Super Tuesday! - the true awfulness of this hideous, grasping, Jesus-freaking alien who threatens The One.

We are living in scarey times. I truly don’t recognize the country anymore. Things are becoming awfully Orwell-esque.
This disgusting, vile sack of garbage “Film” was made for two reasons, #1 because the left believed that Sarah Palin would run for President, that is why the date was chosen to be after Super Tuesday..the 2nd reason why Schmidt and Wallace are behind this garbage is because they probably believed she would run too, she is Romney’s only true threat, and since those two pieces of filth are Romneybots, they wanted to take Palin out
I haven’t recognized this country since Obama took power. I came into politics late so maybe I don’t know as much as many here do, but I have NEVER in my lifetime seen things as bad as they are right now, how the left and some on the right try to destroy a human being who has done nothing to deserve such hatred..The left sees their one time chance at a progressive utopian society, if Obama is re-elected that is what will happen..we have this one chance to stop him
The real tragedy is that the American people tolerate this crap allowing a decent private person to be attacked in such a vile dishonest way.
It’s perhaps deeper than that, DB. The fact is that there are way too many “Americans” who let others “think” for them, and tell them what their “views” should be. How else to explain MSNBC, or the likes of Bill Maher, or his ilk? We have too many individuals who listen to and absorb this kind of propaganda and to them it becomes Gospel truth. I understand this, I have a bunch of knee-jerk union loving democrats in my wife’s family, and an insanely liberal younger sister who has a demented second husband who loves to spew leftist lies and filth. I really would rather cut ties than be around them, so her I am.
I canceled HBO because of this and Maher’s million.
We need an organized boycott of HBO.
That's the ticket. I said the same thing earlier. Hit them where they live. It's an overpriced preimum channel we can all live without. We can all play the boycott game. Boycott every product which advertises on every pro-obama, pro-liberal agenda show. The View, Ellen, Modern Family, etc. The list is endless.

Perhaps Barak will call and console them.
What’s worse is that all the talking heads and all the media know-it-alls predict Obama winning re-election unless something grievous occurs between now and the election. That is hard to believe and, if true, could really augur the end of America as we know it.
