Pro Flowers needs all the ads it can get to sell inferior flowers to the unsuspecting customer.
Started listening in 1993. Nineteen years.
If he gets into any trouble for this, I'll buy a few cases of his tea.
Wonder if they advertise on Letterman or Bill Maher?
It’s a Twitter based controversy reportedly initiated by a Media Matters staffer.
I’ve been listing to Rush since 1991, by the way, although I recall first seeing him as a guest host on Pat Sajak’s talk show on tv.
I recently bought from ProFlowers but was dismayed to see that their quality has eroded, big-time. I won't buy from them anymore. Their decision to suspend their ads on the Rush Limbaugh talk show will hurt them (financially) far more than Limbaugh - but that is their choice, just as it is my choice to purchase from another florist (probably locally). See ya!
Screw you ProFlowers. I have bought your product due to your advertising on Rush.
Now you couldn’t pay me to buy your crap.
FUPF
I have been listening since 1990, no plans on changing my listening habits.
I started listening to Rush in the late 80’s and have admired him from the start.
A few weeks ago, on “Bloody Thursday”, I quit. I will listen to his show tomorrow, but that should be the end of it.
Having said all of that, I find it chicken sh!t as heck for these cowardice sponsors to drop him over this slut rubbish.
Who are the sponsors that dumped Rush? We’d be well versed to e-mail them and tell them to stuff their products. That’s what Rush gets for telling the truth in this day and age.
Rush is usually right but I don’t listen to him that often any more.
I don’t want to be reminded every time that this country is going to hell in a handbasket.
1992 or 1993-ish. It was the summer between 8th and 9th grade for me that I started listening regularly.
Hannity hawks their crap as well, it will be interesting to see what he has to say about this. Got balls Sean?
I had a terrible experience with that company for Mother’s Day, a few years ago. I’d NEVER use them again!
Rush will survive. I only had an AM radio in my work truck in 1990. KFI 810 or something was it. I worked about 30mi WNW of Ajo,Arizona. No truer peace on earth.
I may also join the boycott of his show for apologizing to that effin’ fraud. The only way he will get me back (for now) is to make an amendment to his apology: “I did not mean to call her a slut. I meant to call her a whore” I’m serious, I cannot believe he apologized.
It’s going to be very interesting Monday what Levin has to say about all this. Also, even though I no longer consider her a conservative, I have no doubt Ann Coulter will do a detailed expose on Ms. Flukes life on her column this week. She can’t resist. She is going expose the hell out of this grifter.
I had HEARD of Rush, but never heard him on the radio. Then a former friend told me was going to start a television show, so I agreed to come and view. So, since, what 1992 then I’ve been hooked.
I’ve been listening since about 1990. When you actually heard what he said, how he said it, and take into account who he was saying it about and the occasion which made it all possible, it was pretty minor. It’s always a mistake when people judge the degree of offense by the degree of reaction by the Left. Truly horrendous things (such as 53,000,000 killed by abortion in the U.S. since 1973, over 60% of which came from minority populations that make up about 24% of the total U.S. population) don’t even rate a shudder, rather cheering. Other things, such as a Constitutionally-protected right to carry a gun or to practice religious liberty or to home-school or to practice free speech in criticizing socialists in Congress and the White House provoke hatred and scorn. The most sure thing you know about the Left is that generally whatever they praise is to be suspected and whatever they oppose is more likely than not to be praiseworthy, with a few notable exceptions, and even those things which can be opposed by conservatives are opposed from an entirely different worldview than that of the statist utopians.
