NEW YORK (AP) - A flower company is the 7th advertiser in recent days to say it is pulling ads from conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh's radio program. ProFlowers says on its Facebook page that it has suspended advertising on Limbaugh's program because his comments about Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke "went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company."

If we're going to agree that someone on our side should not have said what he said then we need to fight back when idiots on their side say stuff like this
Ed Schultz calls Laura Ingraham a slut
I think he may have apologized for it but still, let's not forget Mahr as well.
The time for rationally debating these people is over. There's not point in it. They don't deserve our respect.
Exactly. Get that list and give them hell for supporting a Marxist regime. I pray for my Nation.
Don’t bother with Pro Flowers. They sell Class C flowers and represent them as top of the line.
They sent some to a wake recently and they only lasted half a day. Thorns and leaves were not pruned, ..just not your top notch product.
We demanded remuneration and they offered to resend the order. We had another gift situation arising with a birthday, so allowed the resend to the new address.
Pro Flowers then sent the order again to the wake address with the original funeral card, causing more frustration for the bereaved. The returned flowers were then sent to the birthday address with name misspellings and they also only lasted 1/2 day.
We will not use them anymore, based upon performance alone.

I just saw something about Ed Schultz that he was suspended indefinently for his comments about Laura.
If the truth be told, I’ve always thought Rush’s sponsors sold marginal products at excessive prices. But I’ll add ProFlowers to my list of folks to avoid like the plague...
Believe me, the sponsors are getting slammed. Game On!
On your local station, what is your time slot and what do you talk about?
Good advice!
I just removed my payment information from their site, and instructed them to cancel my account and remove me from their mailing list.
I didn’t see a place where you could cancel your account on their site. Either way, they’ll get the message! ;-)
Thanks again for the advice!
If everyone wants to support Rush, I suggest you visit all these advertisers at their facebook page and leave a comment...The intolerant left surely is...I’ve been working their FB most of the day...
Can’t tell you the exact year, but there was a little nest of Rush listeners where I used to work, and I would go into their area and hear those great song parodies. That was my first awareness of Rush.
The only way they were able to get Rush was by rigging a clandestine antenna on the roof of the building. Anywhere else in the building, AM was pretty much a lost cause.
I became a regular listener around 1995.
Even so, where were all these women’s rights groups when Ed spouted of that nonsense?
Same year , same story , but mine was a relative that is a member of the pink mafia , living and working in Hollywood .
Each of these companies has competition. This is a singular opportunity for their competition to take their advertising slots - take the built up marketing awareness that the previous advertiser had accumulated, and steal their potential customers.
Nobody will remember this in a month, and by two months, the gal in question will be entertaining former celebrity pornography opportunities.
Ahhhh No, not even close.
Like I said you should commit to memory the First Amendment before posting again.
Its very simple in fact you can do it by remembering the first five words:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
Unless you have proof pro flowers somehow got congress to deny Rush's First Amendment rights then you are most assuredly wrong. You also should know the First Amendment does not cover speech broadcast over the federally regulated airwaves. For instance you can't say "F**K (four letter word for fornication) on the radio.
So like I said, you should commit to memory the First Amendment AND study the meaning of it before posting anymore about it, because you are doing this site a disservice by posting info that is totally wrong about our founding documents.
DU trolls are lurking to grab crap such as you posted to discredit the Conservative movement. Stop helping them!
Pro Flowers has as much right NOT to advertise with Rush for Something he sez as Rush does for Saying what he wishes. If you don't understand that then you don't understand the First Amendment AND/OR The Free Market.
They became mainstream but regional only until they were bought out by Quaker Oats for $1.7 billion in 1994 then sold it to Triarc in 1997 for $300 million.
Here's an interesting factoid that makes me laugh because it fails to mention that the ad was aired on the Rush Limbaugh program.....
Snapple was known for a popular series of TV advertisements in the early 1990s featuring Wendy Kaufman (the "Snapple lady") answering letters from Snapple fans.
How dare Rush use the s-word! The s-word belongs to the all the sluts on the Slutwalks!
