Where are the Newt fans/Rick haters? Rick called the comments “absurd” and was attacked on here because he didn’t support Rush’s comments. People even made comments he wasn’t tough enough to be President. Now Newt says that Rush is right to apologize, therefore also publically disagreeing with the comments, and we’ll likely not hear a peep.

As far as they are concerned, if Rick says it ? it's bad, if Newt says it, it's all good.

....."Newt Gingrich said President Obama acted “opportunistically” when he called law student Sandra Fluke to extend his support for the woman who had been called a “slut” and a “prostitute” by radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh.

“I think the president will opportunistically do anything he can,” Gingrich said after a rally in Hamilton, Ohio, according to ABC News.".... Newt Gingrich: Obama acted "opportunistically" in calling Fluke

Calling his comments absurd (piling on) is the same as Newt saying that it was right for him to apologize after he did it?

Ok, Santos, whatever makes that high-horse you sit on more comfortable.

Rush’s comments were not “absurd,” they were simply improper, although truthful.

Santorum is absurd by the minute.
