The real question of the day: Will Rush Survive?

It seems he opened a whole new can of worms by issuing an apology yesterday, as advertisers began pulling out of The Rush Limbaugh program.

When George Steffie brought up that ‘contraception’ question and belabored it over and over, many, including talkshow hosts, were wondering what the heck that was all about. Then we found out. It was an intentional trap set for the short-term future against the GoP. Ironically, the trap caught Limbaugh. The Dems/Lefties/MSM couldn’t be more thrilled at that unintended consequence.

I think he’ll survive.

It hurts our cause, no doubt, since those with an agenda control the printing presses and most of the air waves, and they’ve successfully, to a point, made Rush out to be the bad guy.

However, Rush has survived worse. It isn’t the first time Rush has been portrayed as a bad guy, and probably won’t be the last.

The best thing he can do is stop talking about this fraud Fluke, and move on to the ever-present idiots in Washington.

..unfortunately; it will all be about Rushbo's "apology" to the GULC slut.
& note: Newt; is "on" many networks today... a rarity.

Tom, one more thing...

Rush has an daily audience of 18-20 million.

Those numbers are seriously powerful.

I’ve never heard about Carbonite EXCEPT through Rush.

Want to throw that all away to satisfy some liberal outrage? Fine. Go for it. Your bottom line will suffer, but hey, better to be on the side of socialism than make a profit.

Too bad you wind up losing your business, LOL!

The real question of the day: Will Rush Survive?

How about—Will Carbonite survive if millions of conservative subscribers pull their business in response to an owner who basically argued that his OWN daughter is somehow equivalent to a dysfunctional woman at Gerogetown law who, by her own admission, apparently has sex morning, noon and night?

In all seriousness, we learn more about what happens when formerly ballsy start-up companies succeed (thanks in part to their original introduction to the world on Rush’s show) in such way as to become big, exceedingly compromised enterprises trying to be all things to all people. (Extreme sanctimony is usually a sign that a company will be delivering a watered-down product in due time.)

Of course Rush has to hold his affiliates together and deliver high-paying advertisers so he HAS to apologize — and he did go a metaphor too far here because he picked on a private citizen. Not that she didn’t ask for it.

If you read ‘the apology’ carefully, Rush only apologized for his “choice of words”. It was an extremely narrow, VERY carefully worded apology. ElRushbo wrote that apology, not Rush Limbaugh.
