Actually, they are remobilizing. A Twitter account, “Stop Rush,” which has been dormant since late 2010, woke up on Wednesday, when Mr. Limbaugh first called the student, Sandra Fluke, a “slut.”
On Friday, as complaints from “Stop Rush” and others about Mr. Limbaugh’s comments mounted, a handful of companies said that they had halted their advertising on “The Rush Limbaugh Show,” at least temporarily.
One of the companies, Quicken Loans, wrote on Twitter, “Due to continued inflammatory comments — along with valuable feedback from clients and team members — QL has suspended ads on Rush Limbaugh program.”
Two mattress companies, Sleep Train and Sleep Number, made similar statements on Friday. A representative of Sleep Number wrote on Twitter, “Recent comments by Rush Limbaugh do not align w/ our values, so we made decision to immediately suspend all advertising on that program.”
Mr. Limbaugh’s comments on Wednesday about Ms. Fluke, who had testified in support of the Obama administration’s requirement that health insurance plans cover contraceptives for women, were immediately noticed by Media Matters, a liberal media monitoring group that has been raising red flags about Mr. Limbaugh’s language for years.

I completely agree. Among the few media outlets conservatives have are talk radio personalities. The left has now applied their war paint, danced around the fire and are on the move. Rush had to circle the wagons. The savages will now be unrelenting in their attacks. They’ve tasted blood and it is to their liking.
The left picked the wrong fight. This is a slaughter for Rush.
I doubt if Fluky ever saw a contraceptive thingy.

I know libs very well as I’m sure most of us do. They would literally (given a choice) shut down and probably cheer the murder all dissenting voices. I’m serious. Wheras I couldn’t care less if 600 new liberal radio stations sprung up tomorrow, the more the merrier. That’s the difference.
I could be wrong, but I think this will all blow over in a month or so. Rush stepped in it with his comments, missing an opportunity to nail Flukes for her bogus testimony and giving the left a bit of a club in an election year, but it won’t last. Sponsors are CYA’ing right now, but there will probably be new ones when things cool off a bit.
The left has been tasting blood for years. That is why they wanted Obama to win so badly. They saw something in Obama that they did not see in Hillary Clinton. They saw Obama as the opportunity to turn America into Europe, something that progressives have wanted for what, 100+ years. They saw that guy in Obama. The libs have always pretty much controlled the media, but the last few years, they have really let it be known how biased they are. They will NEVER say one bad word about Obama, because they are his cheerleaders, they give money to his campaign, and do his bidding. They will never turn on him, never..they go after Conservatives because they see us as the last remaining obstacle in turning America into their progressive utopian society..they don’t just want us silenced, they want us dead..Rush, Sarah, etc etc..we can all fight the good fight but if people are still willing to believe the crap coming from the media how can we possibly win
Rush will be fine, he’s not a stupid man, he knew what would happen here, he has been under attack since the moment he went on the air, he knows the drill, he will be fine, as long as we continue to support him. I know why he issued that apology, he felt like he had no choice, no sponsors equals no show.
Thank you. A program designed to backup would probably be much better than just copy&pasting to a flash drive. Offsite storage would be good too in case, oh, someone blasted my house with an EMP. Sure, it could happen! lol

Actually I think the Limbaugh thing s an added bonus for them, I think they were trying to create an issue where none exists.

Oh, but it is OK.
It's also OK for those of us who agree with Rush (and disagree with Carbonite et al.) to refuse to do business with them ... and to discuss our refusal in public.

He really used the word, “slut”?
While I was listening, he only said that people who take money for having sex are prostitutes — and she wants to get money for having sex. I never heard “slut”, although I may have missed it. As vile as she is, I’d say Rush went easy on her.
