He didn’t take back anything he said, really - if anything he doubled down on Obama’s getting involved (”don’t think it is a topic that should reach a Presidential level”). He may have apologized for not choosing his words regarding Ms. Fluke carefully, but this “apology” is VERY carefully worded.
