The assumption is that Obama had exceptionally good references to get into Harvard Law. Those can offset any less than stellar grades or LSATs.
But it’s a pretty sure bet he went thru the application/ admission process. No one just walks in and enrolls one day out of the clear blue, as was claimed upthread that this Fluke woman did to list herself as a G’town Law student. (part of the wonderful internet rumor world).
I wouldn’t claim for one minute the admissions offices of even the most ‘prestigious’ schools do a great job of selection. IMO they use too many totally subjective factors. But, there IS a process.
