As a Vikings fan that watched Farve repeatedly hit late in the 2009 NFC Championship game, I feel the saints should be stripped of their Superbowl win. Maybe even lose 1st round draft picks for the next 2 years.

You took the words right out of my mouth. What I couldn’t understand in that game was the refs blind spot to Farve being thrown around. I wouldn’t be surprised if refs got a kick back to the “bonus” pot.

I agree, with one change. Minnesota should get those #1 picks.

Viking would have won the game, plus the Super bowl against Indy.

I always said I thought the League wanted New Orleans to go all the way because of the whole Katrina hurricane hit they took, because they referees were allowing way too many late hits on Favre. Then the league never fined any players the next week like they usually would.

Even Rush commented about the beating Favre took and the way he thought the refs went easy on NO.

You Vikings fans still can’t get over losing to the Saints in 2009. Some of the poorest losers I’ve ever seen.

Except the “late hits” were reviewed over and over again after the game and were not there. Brees was hit just as “late” and as often.

Losing two first round picks isn’t close to bad enough for this one. Saints coaches should all be banned from the league for life, the team taken out of the league for at least one year, and the present owners forced to sell the franchise for whatever they can get for it. The team should never be allowed to play another NFL game under present ownership.

If the NFL was serious, all the Saints’ 2012 draft picks would be void in addition to heavy fines and possible suspensions.

Agreed. Give the championship to the Vikes. Ban the players and coaches from the NFL, and make them do community service in a hospital. I knew the (s)aints were evil!
