The United States announced a diplomatic breakthrough with North Korea Wednesday.
Under an agreement reached in direct talks in Beijing last week, North Korea has agreed to allow the return of nuclear inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency, and has agreed to implement a moratorium on long-range missile tests, nuclear tests, and nuclear activities at Yongbyon, including uranium enrichment activities, the State Department said. In return, the United States will provide North Korea with a large food aid package.

Diplomatic breakthrough my eye. This will play out as it always does. We’ll keep our end of the bargain and the North Koreans will breach theirs.

In return, the United States will provide North Korea with a large food aid package. F'em... We'll give you food when you dismantle the nuke processing plants. Not before.
If we're going to send in "inspectors" send them in with the food and ensure the goods are going to the population and not just the politicos and military

Don’t be so sure.
Talking to a fried right now, who’s saying that we should try it with him because it’s not the same leader. Sigh......I hope that he will honor the deal, but it won’t happen. Screwed, again. Thanks Obama.
Personally, I don’t want to feed a bunch of North Koreans.

If we are borrowing money from China to give to North Korea, why don’t we just have China give them the aid directly?

Because its not a victory if China gives them the food. If they con America once again it is a victory and that victory helps prop up the dictator. He doesn’t care about the food. Most of it will go to the military or be sold for cash.

Now,we taxpayers not only get to support welfare queens, drug addicts, unions, bankrupt auto companies and solar panel manufacturers, extravagant vacations for the first lady, lavish parties at the white house. Now we also get to finance dictatorships and rogue countries with our tax money.

what is it with the left and their Chamberlain moments.
They just cannot grasp that their failure are that, failures.
They keep trying the same old tired policies and actually think a different results will occur, from Green energy to Iran to this to the Taliban and the left saying the Taliban are not our enemy.
Funny how the MSM will not mention the kidnapped American soldier or the Taliban are trying to kill our troops

Two things to remember in this latest episode of the long running North Korean craziness:
1.) It was
George W. DumbAzz that first started this 'Six Party Talks' crapola. He seemed to think that one of the legs of his vaunted 'Axis of Evil' could be persuaded to 'talk' and give up their nuclear program. We've seen how that worked out.
2.) After all that chest thumping and big talk, GWB actually took North Korea OFF the State Department list of terrorist supporting nations in late 2008, and it should be evident by now just how that appeasement initiative turned out.
The fact is, we just might see some initial mirage-like signs that Pyongyang is 'really' sincere this time, why?
Because the little bastards know that deep down, the 'Dear Reader' is one of THEM:

Unlikely. IF Kim Jon Un WAS a 'good man', he would already have received the Leon Trotsky treatment by the evil and wicked sons o' bitches surrounding him in that dynastic dictatorship.

They are absolute idiots if they think that the North Koreans will honor one centilla of any agreement they make with us.
They will take our food and other consessions and continue on with their enrichment, reserch and development while making a big show of allowing us to visit their “secret” installations where no R&D or enrichment will be going on.
We simply must remove this administration from office. Not only our economic survival, but our survival in a dangerous world of belligerentss depends on it.
