At 54 I still have a couple more career moves left. Mrs. GBC's criteria is warm, something to do and in the United States.

Texas here I come. (Fingers crossed)

I want to retire to somewhere near the water, and somewhere warm.

In order to be President you have to know how to talk without saying anything and have others manage your image for you.

So far the 2 guys best at managing their image are Romney and Obama.

I hope the Romney marketing team is better then the Obama marketing team this year.

Santorum, Newt, Bachmann, Cain...etc...all sucked at it.

There’s always Hawaii.

Or is that in Asia now?

We will probably retire on the Alabama Gulf Coast, but that is a loooong way away right now.

And yet he still can’t pull in 50% in a primary.

If I could chose anywhere, I’d pick Edisto Island, SC. I love it there.

We really, really liked Fairhope, Al. Lived there for around 10 years. Wouldn’t mind going back.

in ‘99 I rode a motorcycle from Phoenix to Ocala Fla. stayed a couple weeks and rode the bike back home

what I saw or overcame on I-10 comin and goin should be written in a book

I on purpose would stop in Alabama,Mississippi etc when a store was an obvious mom and pop store

one of these days, I’ll tell the story of the unbranded pork rinds

Hi, everybody. I’m retired in Colorado, and love it here except for the insufficient precipitation. I’ll take a foot of snow per week, please, or an inch of rain!

I love it there. It’s peaceful; the rep from there is an idiot; but I loved the absence of “touristy” traps. Plus it’s only a two hour drive to Savannah. And seeing the dolphins frolic in the mornings was just amazing.
