Poor Santorumania is a sure loser.
To: lilyfreeper
The poll isn’t accounting for the fact that many voters do not yet know who Santorum is.

Obama won Virginia in 2008 with 53% of the vote.

I was something when John King asked the candidates to describe themselves in one word.
Ricky couldn't come up with an adjective so he picked a noun (and quoted Dan Rather to boot!): "Courage"
That shot to the foot blew it off at the ankle.

Or the fact that more than half the GOP is for non-Santo candidates.
If we ever get down to just one, I’m betting the GOP guy will be 5 to 10 points ahead of hussein in every credible poll.

If Newt can go one to one with Obama, we will have a chance.
Romney and Rick will not be able to withstand Obama’s raft. (Obama is a monster)

Im betting the GOP guy will be 5 to 10 points ahead of hussein in every credible poll. The soaring gas prices will be Obama's unshakable albatross. Add that to the misery of massive unemployment, a sour economy and an overall decline in America's economic might. A Tea Party-led sweep is inevitable come November in reaction to the Obama-sponsored despair (dare I characterize it as "malaise"?).

You’re right. Once they know Santorum better his number will fall even lower.

Yep, but he has to run those prices up now so when his buddies dump oil on the Fall market and it drops back to $3.50 he’ll look like a hero.

And when they do, Obama’s margin will be ever greater... Remember, for all his boasting that he knows how to defeat incumbent Democrats, they knew how to eviscerate Santorum among the voters who knew him best.

Disturbing and most illuminating that neither Santorum nor Mittens joined Newt and Sarah in eviserating Hussein for his disgusting apology to the gangster Karzai over the Koran nonsense - ALONG WITH A PROMISE TO PROSECUTE! I guess they share the same stupid naivete that led Bush to trust both Musharraf and Karzai.

Gen Election polls you like, and ones you hate, don’t mean a whole lot this far out. Even if it were reversed I wouldn’t get the least bit excited. Just doesn’t mean much ... again, even the ones you like.
