New Israeli Sub Spotted in German Shipyard

The latest Dolphin-class submarine to be delivered to Israel by year-end was recently seen in Germany's northern Kiel shipyard, according to local media.

The 68-meter-long craft, the largest produced in Germany since World War II, is said to be one of the world's most advanced craft of its kind and can launch nuclear weapons, according to foreign sources.

The diesel-electric powered submarine is currently said to be undergoing tests by shipbuilders Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft (HDW) , and will join three other such German-built craft already in Israel's fleet, Ma'ariv noted.

As I recall, Israel has both the Jericho 3 ICBM and Popeye Turbo SLCM [submarine-launched cruise missile] — both are ‘special weapon’ capable.

If I were Israel, I’d take out Iranian C3I (Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence) with an EMP attack by Popeye Turbo SLCM and hit Iranian nuke sites with Jericho 3 missiles. Iran is ‘lights out’ and a reduced to radioactive wasteland in 2 hours, tops.
