When Mitt scores, he does not help himself because, well, he is still Mitt. He helped Santorum in Florida and elsewhere against Newt, and tonight Santorum’s struggles are demonstrating that Newt - who is brilliant tonight - is the best to beat Romney in the short run and Obama in the long run.
