Destroy Santorum, and you hand Michigan to Romney. The common thinking was Romney would have a big problem if didn’t win Michigan. He might now win Michigan and go full steam ahead with momentum into Super Tuesday. If he gets it, there will be no way in hell for a brokered convention. Romney will be the nominee.

Santorum destroyed Santorum. If he cannot debate Mitt he will be destroyed by Obama. Keep in mind it does not work when they attack Gingrich. He flips the table as soon as it is presented.

Agree I would have loved for Santorum to have held his own tonight. Mittens losing Michigan may have gave us a real Campaign choice between Santorum and Newt. I think Santorum lets his emotion control him, probably good on the campaign trail but not good in a debate.

On the Abortion question Newt jumped the gun and threw Santorum a life line. How dare they question Santorum on his abortion stance when Obammy was never questioned on Infantcide. Santorum still waded in with both feet must be his days of fighting on the senate floor.

I agree while Paul had some sanity tonight I have never seen him really go after Mittens.
