and Newt's answer shows his mastery of debate!
He told King & CNN is was a stupid question and did it in a way that won him applause and good will. Not the result King & CNN wanted!

Newt scares the MSM.That's for sure, especially a Newt/Sarah ticket.

He’s holding up under a withering attack, and then returning fire. The stacked Romney audience is obvious.

Awsome, Newt just brought back up the fact that Obama is the most dangerous president regarding national security ever. I love it! King must be too afraid to have brought that up so far.

Discouraging night. Combining a poor performance tonight with the MSM proctologists focusing on him, Santorum seems finished very suddenly. The problem now is that, barring some catastrophe, none of the men on that stage can beat Obama. Newt might fare the best but it seems clear the Republicans don’t want him.

I hope you’re right. He certainly seems more dignified. the squabbling between Santorum and Romney is irritating and Ron Paul needs to be in a home. A locked facility.
I’m just frustrated because he’s not allowed to talk.

They’re there nutmeg but frankly he hasn’t said much that warrants applause. As you can tell, I dislike him and I suspect his numbers will show how badly he did come tomorrow by those less bias.

CHEERFUL was pretty darn smart. I caught the entire audience off guard, and in no way could you call it cliche’.

Many issues of vital importance to me, and on which Obama is highly vulnerable, WERE NOT BROUGHT UP TONIGHT. Surprise. Not. CNN IS RUNNING THE DAMNABLE THING.

Newt knows the enemy (CNN for example) and he knows exactly how to counter their agenda.

It’s ridiculous. Someone should call CNN out. No gas prices. No debt or deficit. No unemployment.
To: Shortstop7
I bitterly resign myself to the idea we are going to be stuck with Romney as the nominee, then I watch the debate and wonder how in the world people cant see we need Newt?

You just summarized Newt’s entire campaign strategy for the primary and the general.

There will be PLENTY of time for Newt to smack down Bammer on the 16 trillion, once they debate one-on-one.
