LIVE DEBATE THREAD (Is it too early to start?)
Newt: specifics: 1,2,3, not I did this and that...
GO NEWT!
Newt is doing great. He isn’t letting the Romney Death Stare scare him. Go Newt!
Sadly all this is accomplishing is letting King lead some of them to attack eachother. All questions seem to be geared in that direction. Newt, when he gets a chance isn’t falling for it this time. Good on him.
Rick's Ramblin'.
Ron Paul had us laughing out loud, watching him pinch his face and write as Santorum talked!
Santorum: “Blah, blah, blah”....good earmarks and bad earmarks ... blah, blah, blah....
He looks and sounds like a kid at the grownups table at Thanksgiving. (Although I do appreciate he left the vest home)
Newt is on FIRE ~~~ tonight.
They’ll never let him sit down again. They thought it would lesson his energy. Quite the opposite.
Newt is getting all the applause and John KIng’s main assignment is to talk over Newt Gingrich’s applause.
The crowd needs to keep applauding Newt Gingrich. Don’t let John King stifle your very Patriotic response for Newt.
Go NEWT !!!!
Newt is fantastic.
King now steering them back to personal attacks. Can’t have the candidates attacking Obama and his utter devastation to this countey.
Santorum rambles. I like him just fine, but he does.
GOOOOO NEWT !
NEWT........
Santorum, as a percentage of GDP, why don’t you change your progressive income tax to a flat tax?
The V22 Osprey was the most critical marine equip we had in the Islamist wars?
WTF?
Willie Mitty
“Look at the Olympics”
Yeah YAWN
“I balanced the budget there”
Well lets see what John McCain thought about that...
From the Congressional Record:
Senator McCain on the GAO Report
On Sept. 19, 2000, Sen. McCain, speaking in opposition to the Conference Report on the 2001 Legislative Branch Appropriations bill advised the Senate of details from the GAOs report. As recorded in the Congressional Record, Sen. McCain stated,
The GAO now determines that $1.3 billionand some of those I will read: $974,000 for the Utah State Olympic Public Safety Command; $5 million for the Utah Communications Agency Network; $3 million to Olympic Regional Development Authority, upgrades at Mt. Van Hoevenberg Sports Complex; $2.5 million, Salt Lake City Olympics bus facilities; $2.5 million, Salt Lake City Olympics regional park-and-ride lots; $500,000, Salt Lake City Olympics transit bus loan, and on and on; $925,000 to allow the Utah State Olympic Public Safety Command to continue to develop and support a public safety program for the 2002 Winter Olympics; $1 million for the 2002 Winter Olympics security training; $2.2 million for the Charleston Water Conservancy District, UT, to meet sewer infrastructure needs associated with the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. What the Olympic games supposedly hosted and funded by Salt Lake City, which began in corruption and bribery, has now turned into is an incredible pork-barrel project for Salt Lake City and its environs. Sen. John McCain in the United States Senate, Sept. 19, 2000 - [Page S8731-S8748 - Congressional Record.]
NOT Presidential! Even GWB was not whiny!
They have GOT TO GET ON THE OFFENSIVE ON OBAMA MORE: Fast and Furious, Solyndragate, Michelle's Expensive Let Them Eat Cake Attitude, Deaths of Navy Seals, Rising Gas Prices, Kowtowing to Iran and North Korea, Screwing up Iraq and Afghanistan, installing radical islamist regimes in Tripoli and Cairo, HHS Dictatorial Rule over Religion, I could go on and on.
PS Santorum just said "RADICAL ISLAMISTS" LOL! I bet the White House and CNN are having conniption fits over that.
Very weak defense by Santorum on earmarks. He named others but never expressed an regret for any of his votes in regards to earmarks. NO applause for RS
How is Newt doing? I had to answer the door neighbor came over
And again Newt doesn’t take the bait while Santorum is playing Romney’s game.
Mittens on the attack.
Santorum voted for the ‘bridge to nowhere’ and is not for earmarks. You [Santo] was fighting the bridge of nowhere.
Santorum just got hurt real bad with his speal on earmarks.
