A nice nickname, being the apple of my father’s eye, the twinkle in his eye

Cool! And it beats my screen name. ;)

Hey man, I was just asking a question regarding your screen name and gay slang, not making an accusation. Check your facts.

Your hysterical, drama queen overreaction has been duly noted, however...

I know from your posts that if Newt isn’t the nominee, you won’t vote at all and you will leave our country if Obama wins. Selfish and childish are words that come to mind . . . Some of us are here to win this country back from the leftist stalinists

Too bad you’ve confused Saint Rick’s determination to become President with this thing you call “conviction.”

“That’s closer to the Reagan tax code than any candidate so far.”

This is the age of the flat tax and, hopefully, the fair tax. Simply lowering the old system and refusing to crush it entirely is evidence of weakness. The progressive tax code must die. Get with the times.

The audience is SO stacked with Romneybots that they’re now booing everything Santorum says. This is obscene.
No, that is karma. And from what I've heard, she's a bitch.

You misread that. I was giving the reasons why Adelson IS supporting Newt.

Okay, apparently we can’t let it go.

I NEVER participate in or read the Texas forum because I think it gets too insular. So I can’t speak to anything that happened there.

However, as an avid Perry supporter, I read every word of every Perry thread.

I don’t remember you as a disrupter or on the threads at all. However, if you did come on Perry threads for the sole purpose of insulting Perry and his supporters, you might have received some well-earned criticism.

Most of that merry little band who had the ping list only posted childish and vulgar insults and never said anything substantive.

I don’t know who you’re talking about as being the person who accused Jim Rob of stuff or had a blog. Maybe it was on the Texas forum.

The two or three people on the main forum who posted Rick Perry threads were very nice, polite even to disrupters and as far as I can tell from on-line posts were simply supporting their candidate.

I know that no one on the Perry threads did or said the things they’ve been accused of on this forum. I really didn’t intend to post about it anymore. It is ancient history but he who forgets history is doomed to repeat it.

The anti-Perry crowd were the nastiest, meanest and most shameless people I have ever encountered on Free Republic and I’ve been here a long time and through some furious battles.

As far as the Texas threads are concerned, I stayed off them. If you had problems there, I’m sorry, but don’t accuse people on the main forum.

You are not on the list of vicious trolls I made and neither is the Norm dude.

I’ll let it drop if you guys will, but I don’t like for lies about Perry supporters to go unchallenged.

There are rotten apples in any group, but very few among Perry supporters. Now, Cain supporters would just as soon shoot you as look at you, but that’s an old story too.

Some county chairwoman from Michigan was on Bill Bennett’s radio show today. Now this woman was not the brightest bulb in the batch and needing prodding to even get a complete sentence out. She said she was looking forward to the debate but was so disgusted she turned it off after Ron Paul called Santorum a fake. She also said she thought Romney was ridiculous for criticizing Santorum over his support for Specter and somehow insinuating Santorum was responsible for Obamacare because of that. And Bennett made a good point that at the time Santorum was doing that, Romney was still pro-choice. She said her county had a lot of Tea Party people supporting Santorum but thought Romney would win the state. I think this is why Romney’s driven turnout down so much. Some people just hate seeing the sniping and sparring drown out the substance of the discussion and just aren’t interested in politics if that’s what it’s about.

Romneybot Bennett also appeared to be pushing the bizarre, false meme that somehow Newt’s given up or resigned from the fight, the same thing Drudge linked to on the Daily Beast. I can’t imagine how anyone could watch the debate and even think that was a plausible criticism to make. A good pro-Newt caller did get through saying that we’re hiring someone to lead the country like a company and Newt is obviously the most qualified. Mike Gallagher on his show basically said anyone criticizing Newt’s debate performance that way was clueless.

I can see Chris Wallace interviewing Santorum on the next Fox News Dunday...”Senator...are you a fake?”

I never mentioned a debate. But Newt would tear him up in a debate also. Barry Soreto, IMHO, is a blabberng idiot.

Isn’t your screen name some kind of gay slang?

and I have been told Sargon is the most common name found amongst child molesters (sarc)

two can play such a silly game Sargon...it's not really fair

my nick is prison slang...look it up...doesn't mean i am one

Twink like me and others here insist we will support Newt or Rick and we deserve innuendo like you hurled at her?

do you have a political point?

forget that hysterical woman earlier who i hope has finally actually gone to sleep..

I have been a Newt supporter since Palin and Perry imploded and Bachmann collapsed...got my bumpersticker on december 4th or so and donated 500 twice

but I still will support Santorum if he can sustain traction and I do like his cultural conservatism which i think the forum is all about really...not to say Newt is not such as well but Santorum is being mudded with the label

I do not see how both Newt and Rick remain after Super Tuesday..but who knows...shame Texas has been thwarted by the latino left

that is twice you have mentioned homosexuality sargon...you got something you need to tell us?

and while you are at it why don’t you try enumerating your political point which requires such personal attack?

do you have one?

explain it.

The middle of Yosemite is an even more captive audience than Lake Buena Vista. Whatcha gonna do? Argue?

But I DO far less blame the Park Service for that gouging than WDW because of the transportation in getting the gas there, and the volume(s) that would be delivered vs an easily accessed and highly populated area like Orlando.

He's like a teacher's pet turned class snitch and the audience is beginning to see through him with their boos.

The audience was stacked with Romney supporters who were on offense big time to BOO front-runner Santorum, no matter what he said. Mesa, AZ is also a big Mormon area. Last night's audience was one of the most Romney-friendly ones yet during the 20 GOP debates.

I simply asked the member if they were aware that their screen name is a slang term which is popular in the gay community.

The reason I mentioned it a second time is because I was falsely and hysterically accused of a personal attack. I had to respond to the invalid presumption.

So, to summarize: no personal attack, and no particular fixation on the topic. Check your facts.

However, as an avid Perry supporter, I read every word of every Perry thread.

I don’t know who you’re talking about as being the person who accused Jim Rob of stuff or had a blog. Maybe it was on the Texas forum

You posted in pro-Perry threads he started based on his blog posts and he posted responses in pro-Perry threads directly to you, such as this one where he responded to a post you made where he said non-Perry supporters were not real Conservatives and were dumb, paid, or Occupy Wall Street types.

You even posted in threads after he was zotted where people were directly talking about his being zotted just a few posts after yours.

We're all getting older though, and maybe it slipped your mind.

I'll be honest with you, if I didn't know people who knew him personally and vouched for his obsession with Perry, I would have thought he was deliberately trying to make Perry supporters look bad. Even though he had been a FReeper since 1998, when he started getting a little crazy and obsessed with any candidates who were threatening Perry, I really did think he was trying to make you all look bad. But he was sincere in his support for Perry and his hatred of everybody else.

At least the other Perry supporters who went too far backed off and/or apologized. But that guy, he needed help. He couldn't even stay away after being banned. Somebody told me he may have been banned up to three times after his first zot. I only saw him reappear once.

Well, I did read the thread you mentioned and I can’t believe you cited it as an example of abuse by Perry supporters.

Yes, bullypulpit did go a little far but this was a Perry thread that was descended on by vultures whose only focus in life seemed to be abasing Perry.

There was one guy on that thread who was orgasmic with delight because he thought I mistakenly posted to myself.

I did that as a joke but I guess it was too subtle.

I didn’t know this bullypulpit guy from a hole in the ground and still don’t. I posted on the thread because it was a Perry thread and I was interested.

I wasn’t aware of bullypulpit being zotted and I take no responsibility for him. He is not typical of Perry supporters, except perhaps in his enthusiasm for Perry.

By the way, if you want the subject to be dropped, don’t keep trying to get the last word.

Obviously there was a lot of vitriol on the Texas threads but that’s one reason I don’t go there.

That was one of the threads that was highly offensive and since you referenced it, it should be obvious to you that it was invaded by unbalanced haters.

I’m not ashamed of going on that thread or of anything I posted on that thread. If you can cite something specific that I said to you or others that rates an apology, I’ll consider it.
