Newbie/Retread alert.
The mistake people are making is thinking this is just another Presidential race where they vote for their favorite guy rather than a fight for our very country, and that first and foremost.
Most on FR know that Newt is the only one who has all that it will take to move Washington...he's the entire Package this nation needs and it really makes no difference if you like the man or not.
When I need any repair in my home I want the best man with the equipment necessary and knowledge to know how to use it to get the job done. It matters little to me what his private life is about or his religion. Is he the best man for the job and can he do it. I don't want someone who has played apprentice under him nor thinks he's now qualified because he's been in on a few calls. I want the man who has done the job himself.
The same goes for what our 'broken' nation needs now. Santorum is still learning and he certainly isn't qualified to handle all the maneuverings that will be needed to turn this ship. He does not have the tools nor the expertize to pull it off...and that's just the facts. There's no way he can pull congress together to get things done...he hasn't even gotten but a hand full willing even to support him....and that should be a heads up to his supporters.
Newt's the man for the job...he wants to do it...he has nothing to loose by giving it his all...he has all that's needed and then some to take it on...and with our standing with him by getting our people into congress good things are ahead....the fight will be fierce no doubt...but Newt knows the opposition as no other...he'll take them on and win!...and so too this race.

I like Gingrich and Santorurm so I have no problem voting for either of them in the primary. And, I will vote for anyone but Obama in the general.
The people will save our Country, not any politician, and they are all just politicians.

If that were true we wouldn't be in the shape we're in now...Obama's destroying this country single-handedly despite the outcry of the people.

I am the audience and Romney has been told repeatedly - he doesn't know what he is talking about - IOW, he's lying. So what you are saying is - romney is the best liar. But he's not even that - because it was obvious he was lying about the earmarks while he grabbed hundreds of millions while making accusations of others. And he lied about not commanding the catholic hospitals to follow suit w/other hospitals in birth control measures.

Too bad he goes there. Very good on domestic, half-baked on foreign.
Sometimes I think he’s intentionally insincere about certain aspects of foreign affairs. He makes a good point, however, about the importance of declaring war instead of just wondering into it.
He does make some good points but he’s shown his character and that makes his rhetoric null and void to me. Before I didn’t think of him one way or another - just good for a laugh, now I’m at the point of despising him.

I chose my sceenname becaues it meant something to me...a nickname given to me by my four older brothers. A nice nickname, being the apple of my father’s eye, the twinkle in his eye. One of the many wonderful memories of my childhood. Sometimes, morons like you, can try to make it a dirty thing. Been there, done that.
Way before the homo agenda clouded even conservatives’ eyes, and took over the language, some things weren’t associated with the homoe world. Or Urban slang.

Newt’s also a politician. Granted, he hasn’t held office for a decade or so but he’s still a politician, warts and all.
He has his negatives just like Santorum does. They both have their positives and I’d happily vote for either of them.
I don’t buy that Newt is the non-politican or the we the people candidate. I like both of them for many reasons. I’d happily support either one of them. A whole lot different than 2008 with McCain, Romney and Huckabee.
You don't have to but it's not going to change because of that. He's all about WeThePeople - the only candidate that is! And he's running because he's a historian and knows how to fix what has been tampered with and that includes the judges. His plans are already in place for his first day in office. He knows what and how and when to approach what needs to be done. Just listening to him one can see that. He's just not babbling away like the other candidates - he's actually saying something.
