Nope...because Obama could get Santorum off his mark..just as they did in the debate tonight.

I actually think Santorum has been consistently good throughout the GOP debates. In fact, I would argue his current frontrunner status can be traced back to the second Florida debate when he bloodied up Romney in their verbal exchange over RomneyCare. Granted, I don’t think Santorum hit any home runs in tonight’s debate, but I don’t think any of the other candidates did a whole lot to shake up the race either. Gingrich turned in a pretty good performance though... I just hope it isn’t enough to split the conservative vote and make Romney the default frontrunner once again. I’d gladly take either Santorum or Gingrich as the nominee. We’ll just have to see how everything plays out next Tuesday.

I sure hope this is part of the the ‘war’.

I have grown so tired and weary from this constant mess.

I wasn’t fond of Bush but Obama has been a nightmare!

I honestly feel stress if I don’t stay on top of the news and our gov’t, Obama bothers and worries me THAT much.

Our liberties and our Republic are in severe danger as best I can determine, unless I’ve just went ‘round the bend.

The only time I recall feeling this much stress was when kiddo was a newborn and I fretted to do and get everything right.

This ‘stand’ gives me hope—we are not alone and people are putting their fortunes into saving this country.

I almost feel like I would give up if Obama gets another 4— I won’t— but I am tired and morale is down.

I have said and in my heart believed— I wouldn’t vote Romney. I am almost to the point that I think if Romney is what we end up with...I would do it one more time.

If we get Romney, the time for talking GOP death is done...I am all for a new party.

Obama is dangerous and he MUST go. And our media needs a swift kick in the bum!

Newt and Marianne, his second wife, didn’t live THAT much together.

Married in 1980, separated in 1987, when she LEFT him, carrying away all the furniture and the family car. For more than six years they lived apart.

In 1994, when he was elected Speaker of the House, she went back to him, but by that time the marriage was broken beyond repair...

He asked for divorce in 1999, which was finalized in April 2000. Marianne got the property of the house with everything inside, the life insurance and alimony.

Geez, I’ve never been so pissed off at Drudge. He now put up probably the ONLY article he could find critical of Newt in the debate, and no other headlines covering Newt in the debate, and the article he picks is from the DAILY BEAST. The whole article really bashes the entire debate and all the Republicans, as you’d expect from a leftist site, but the article has a convenient Newt-bashing headline. Absolutely, utterly disgusting. Romney still knows Newt is his ONLY serious challenger and that he cannot risk letting Newt get any positive attention.

The idea of Newt debating Obama is music to my ears.

First we have Romney who thinks of Obama as just another Democrat that “is in over his head”. I'm sure none of Hitler's detractors felt that way about him.

Romney would be useless in a Debate with Obama, especially in the area of the comparisons of Romneycare to Obamacare.

Now we have Santorum who comes across as the Liberals wet dream definition of an Extreme Right Winger and Religious Nutcase. Yes, it is a Reality versus Perception issue, but the Electorate can always be counted on to get those two terms confused.

Obama would make Rick look like somebody who wants to put a Spycam in every Americans bedroom while Rick would come across like a whining teenager trying to defend his Socially Conservative beliefs. The Great Communicator he is not...

Now we get to Newt and why his ability to explain positions and clarify our History will simply expose Obama in a way the Electorate has never seen him.

If you think the Thin Skinned Poseur is a childish vindictive jerk now, wait until Speaker Gingrich exposes his true ideology in a Debate forum. The swarmy “Robert Gibbs” inspired responses coming out of Obama’s mouth will fall flat against Gingrich. The Liberals Moderating the Debate will not be able to shield Obama like they would with a Romney or a Santorum standing on the stage.

The Debates will be the last line of defense against the Obamunist takeover of our great Nation. Obama cannot be allowed to achieve a draw with his Republican opponent in the Debates, he has to crack so his lies cannot be defended by the Sycophant Media that will surely be rushing to his defense Post Debate. I think only Speaker Gingrich can make that happen.

Well, that's my .02 on the subject, so I'll just say goodnight.

It makes him a man. A good man. wardaddy is a real man.

Heh, if you were a bimbo, as you suggested, you wouldn’t go for Santorum.

I think you misinterpreted his post.

What do you mean by your statement of “other non-protestant or catholic religions?”

Oh wait, nevermind, I know. LOL

The Jewish people are our Salvation? OK then. As for not getting into a religous debate, you already did.

Everyone, line up your priorities as it pertains to this country....I don't give a rat's azz about Newt's personal life....I'm interested in him as a President who will begin to turn this country right side up. Newt can articulate his thoughts and beliefs...HOW REFRESHING and vital to the Conservative message. Bottom line, anyone BUT obozo.

GO, NEWT, GO!

Santorum isn’t ready for primetime, but because he refuses to see it (along with many of his supporters), he has split the conservative vote, effectively cutting Newt off at the knees. And Newt is our only hope against Zero. That’s why I’m pissed at Santorum. We could very well end up with Mitt now, much like we ended up with McCain because Huckabee wouldn’t step down.

But an article came out yesterday saying he is supporting him. What does Newt have to do with the way the country is going now?

Ok then. Whatever you say.

Pounding sand with one hand as I type with the other. This won’t go well. There’s gonna be sand everywhere once I find sand, and lots of typos.

It is interesting!

I had to apologize to Cain supporters and I suppose I owe one to Cain himself.

I don’t believe I ever came out and said that I thought Cain was a Romney ‘stalking horse’ but I certainly suspected it and I think I implied as much, if not directly.

I truly hope Cain does realize that Perry isn’t in any way responsible for or approved of that stupid rock. And it WAS named after a dang flower! Same type deal as *chink in the armor*. PC gone mad.

I think some turd-wads (Romney camp, Rove or maybe even team Obama) thought they could clear a couple of candidates from the field by lighting that fire.

I also now suspect the same who turned over rocks—also summoned the angry female brigade.
