Please attend hearing if you can.
Argumentum ad populum. Grow up!
No one is talking about it because no one cares. You are like that 911 Truthers as far as the public, both liberal and conservative, is concerned. Just another internet fringe group.
And yet here you are. :)
Doesnt the deafening silence from both liberals and conservatives give you a hint that no one cares about this?
Says the fellow hanging on every word regarding this subject. Your words lie on their very face.
Again, because you respond to it with such promptness and enthusiasm! But for your uppityness you would make a good little servant boy. :)
I am here because I like the give and take, researching and learning new things, putting my thoughts to word.
It adds a little spice to my life.
I don’t think for a second it has any impact on the real world. When I want to impact the real world I step away from my keyboard.
Can you keep your dominance fantasies to yourself please?
The modern manner of using the term has changed from the way in which it was used in previous centuries. When travel was expensive, and by sailing ship, pretty much anyone who was born in a particular place, was either a citizen, or intending to be a citizen. Transient Aliens were rare, so 99% of the people who were "natural born citizens" were also "natives." The term "native" was also shorter and easier to say, so I can see why the usage of it was favored.
But let us not forget that Chief Supreme Court Justice Waite specifically equated the term with "natural born citizen" in the context of being born to two citizen parents.
At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.
You seem to have an impenetrable wall of obtuseness. I explained it to you clearly, and your response is to go back to your sheep chant. Their arguments are exactly the same as the "birther" argument. They just do not wish to be associated with a movement which has been maligned by so many powerful media voices.
What part of "their arguments are exactly the same" do you not understand?
You are merely twisting two of their columns on illegal immigrants to suit your agenda. You are being dishonest.
I am merely pointing out that BOTH of them argue the 14th amendment was not intended to apply to transient aliens. Only fools would think that would be a reasonable idea.
While I am thinking about it, which one of your parents was an alien during your birth? (Or was it your wife during your children's birth?) You obviously have a serious emotional attachment to your belief.
Sorry. Slapping you around like a little bitch just brings it out in me I guess.
Nul ne pourra être élu président sil nest citoyen de naissance, ou sil nest citoyen des États-Unis au moment de ladoption de la présente Constitution...
citoyen de naissance
Not, Les Naturels ou indigènes...
I guess the meaning of the word "synonym" is lost on you.
Oh absolutely. It is one of the primary talking points of the Fogblow bunch.
Or course, Occam's razor would indicate that if a person has troubles producing a real birth certificate, it is because they have a problem producing a real birth certificate, not because it is all a part of a cunning plan, "cunning enough to have been thought up by a fox who has done been made the 'Professor of Cunning at Oxford University"!
If I was on the DNC, I would be posting here as a birther.
That was my theory as well! (You are just a different sort of "birther".)
Since you thought of it too, it must be wrong.
You aren't learning anything new (despite our best efforts) you are simply regurgitating the simple minded crap of which most people suffer from the delusion of.
You have made up your mind to believe the Sheep Chant version. "Born Here Citizen! Born Here Citizen! " and "Citizen = Natural born citizen!"
What you advance as an argument is a systematic incrementalism of false equivalency.
It adds a little spice to my life.
I dont think for a second it has any impact on the real world. When I want to impact the real world I step away from my keyboard.
Do you really think your Occupy Wall Street protests are impacting the real world?
Actually, if he was recently in the Navy, I believe there is a clitoris at the very top of the chain of command. (and it isn't Moochell's to which I am referring.)
