Rick Santorum says President Barack Obama is pushing a radical environmental agenda that unwisely limits energy production and turns its back on science.
Santorum told voters in eastern Ohio on Monday that science is on the side of those who want to aggressively produce more oil and natural gas in America. He said the notion of global warming is not climate science but "political science."

I can't for some reason copy and paste into FR any of the websites, but there are many. In fact one on Utube, in DEC 2008, in which Newt states it is politics.
Much much more there, with Newt before a Congressional Committee refuteing Al Gore and WAXMAN. That is if some would like to know the truth, which they don't it seems.
NEWT has been fighting this issue for many years.
So reassuring to hear from a candidate who is not afraid of the MSM nor of Obama. God speed, Rick Santorum!
I wish he would carry it a step further, else it amounts to platitudes that have been espoused for years. Many on FR could have said it far better and with some real meat behind it.

Some people have known that but the MSM and the politicians are still pushing global warming. We need a candidate who will state simply and clearly that global warming is fraudulent. The government “solutions” to global warming are all multi-billion dollar money wasters. And look at Solyndra and all the fraudulent “green energy” projects that are wasting taxpayer money.
Wishy-washy pro-global warming stuff like we get from Newt and Romney is destructive. State the truth simply, clearly and forcefully.
This is an economic issue and Obama’s ‘environmental’ policies are having very real consequences.
You just want to attack Santorum for the sake of doing so.
"...and who is also viewed by the average American as a radical Social Conservative with an agenda to cram his narrow social agenda down moderate America's throats." Then why do you think he is surging? It's because people DO care about social issues!
The only thing that Santorum should not do is back down on either the social or the economic, but keep on attacking on both fronts.
Amen.
