I only see embarrassment for Santorum and his faith here on FR and on TV. People who meet Santorum like him. Maybe that is why he is surging.

There is a quiet undercurrent out there, people who are fed up with the culture of the country. This election is about more than the economy. The media will just lie and create a false economy to cover Obama.

Saint Rick? Remember Saint Sarah? Those terms are meant to be slams.

Beats being known as a junkyard dog and a person who can’t be trusted.

I did not intend “Saint” Rick as an insult, but I know many do. I would be surprised if he could win MI; if so, Romney won’t make it, as I had long predicted.

dforest, Every time one of these angry little people use a derisive term or label in regards to Santorum and his moral character and reputation then they are actually revealing their own internal disgust for their preferred candidate.

I think it is sad that these people try to tear down Rick Santorum’s image by trying to turn a positive into a negative. It is, of course, only because they don't believe that there is an effective way to promote their own candidate to the public.

I think Gingrich is awesome. I choose Santorum because I think his positions are better, his record is better and his electability is better. I would vote for Gingrich in a heartbeat in the general or in the primary if I didn't feel there was a better candidate.

Freepers who are dissing Santorum on this site look foolish, angry and spiteful....providing little in the way of real reasons to not support him.

Those who know him have said that to meet him is to like him..and everywhere he is going where he gets to talk to people one on one or address a crowd, his numbers are improving.

Romney needs to be defeated at all costs..and if Rick is the one to be able to do that, then we should all be supporting him.
I’m going to Michigan on Friday from Wisconsin. Other supporters are coming in from all over the country to work for the Santorum campaign. Polls indicate that this could come down to a very narrow victory for either Rick or the dishonorable liberal from Massachusetts.

If it was Newt that was ahead and needing grassroots volunteers, I would do same.
No Romney/No way.
