(SCOTTSDALE, AZ) - An unarmed Arizona grandfather was blasted in the head this week by a police officer who killed the man because he "thought" he had a weapon. This was the particular officer's sixth fatal shooting in the line of duty, it happened Tuesday night in Scottsdale, "There were at least three officers in position to engage the suspect. At least one of the officers thought he saw something in the suspect's hands," Scottsdale Police Sgt. Mark Clark told Arizona's KPNX.

Was the officer’s name Lon Horiuchi?
Time for the fsmily to seek out a mean-spirited, vicious Attack Lawyer.
And it’s looooong PAST time that this dumb cop was returned to private life and jailed.
“Also, the article says that at least one of the 3 officers thought the man had a gun...”
Therein lies the copout. All they need do is to voice that, which indicates they felt that, and feared for their lives. Justified. What a bunch of crap. Fry em! Deep and long!
Mrs Weaver was holding her child when she was gunned down by that other dude. He walked, and so will this guy, unfortunately.
I had the same thoughts. The Lon Horiuchi school of police work (cold blooded murder). For you young-uns who don’t know who our hero Lon is, go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lon_Horiuchi
Google “ruby ridge” or “Randy Weaver” for the whole sick story.
NVM.
1. It's easy to mistake one for the other.
2. It's possible that this cop got a radio report that the man was reaching for a gun and shot in response to that report.
3. It's possible that he had to shoot the man because there wasn't a dog around to shoot.
4. It's also possible that for any of a number of reasons, we don't have the whole story here.
We all know the right answer for any given set of facts. What we aren't sure of are the full facts.
So you think it is OK for trained cops to kill an unarmed man holding a baby, if they discover later that he had firearms in his house.
Boot-lickers don’t care much for the 2nd Amendment. Only government agents should have guns, right?
Who would ever have thought that the Land of the Free and The Home of The Brave would have ever come to this?
I grieve for my grandkids and all of those in their generation for the world they will have to grow up in.
Based on gossip from the media - the media that thinks the "Arab Spring" is a good thing?
When you hear about a dog being shot, imagine what it's like for a cop in Arizona where illegal aliens all have big dogs in their yards so they can be warned as they perform unknown illegal activties. I've got a big dog barking over my back fence - but I can't talk to the neighbors . . . no English.
That cop probably also subscribes to the William Money theory of shooting people:
Bystander: You just shot an unarmed man!
Money: Well he should have armed himself.
(The Unforgiven, Clint Eastwood)of course.
I understand what you say about the media, they are all notorious leftists and would like nothing better than to light the fuse on a revolution, but that in no way excuses bad cops all over this country.
That MUST be it. I want everyone gunned down by the cops, LOL.
You are relying on the same media for info that believes President Reagan was responsible for the spread of AIDS.
Do we have this confirmed from a news source that’s not horrible. These guys can’t keep anything straight, the victim has at least 3 different names in the story (Loxas, Lozas and Loax that I saw), then there’s this beautiful nugget: “Peters first killed a suspect in 2002, as a member of a SWAT team. This was the one non-fatal shooting he was involved in.” Wha? By that point in the story I’m not willing to believe this newspaper on up and down, because I’m pretty sure they don’t know the difference.
Run for local office.
Start a citizens group.
Running for local office around here is not an option, unless one wants to join up with Satan worshiping Free Masons.
There are already “citizen groups”
There needs to be an emergency number to call other than 911, that summons armed friends an neighbors to your aid...whether you need assistance with either burglars or gutless psychopaths.
Has anyone considered the fact that the man may have been endangering the baby, threatening harm to the baby?
