Army Orders Soldiers to Wear Fake Breasts and 'Empathy' Bellies
Soldiers don fake belly, breasts to better understand pregnant troops' exercise concerns

CAMP ZAMA, Japan – The Army is ordering its hardened combat veterans to wear fake breasts and empathy bellies so they can better understand how pregnant soldiers feel during physical training.
This week, 14 noncommissioned officers at Camp Zama took turns wearing the “pregnancy simulators” as they stretched, twisted and exercised during a three-day class that teaches them to serve as fitness instructors for pregnant soldiers and new mothers.
Army enlisted leaders all over the world are being ordered to take the Pregnancy Postpartum Physical Training Exercise Leaders Course, or PPPT, according to U.S. Army Medical Activity Japan health promotion educator Jana York.
Developed by the Army in 2008, the course includes aerobics classes, pool sessions and classroom studies on the physiology of pregnant women.

I miss the days when pregnant was never used as an adjective when describing a soldier. And why are they sending women who are with child into direct combat?

I cannot believe how incredibly stupid that is. I mean Dehydrated stupid. Dehydrated-rock-hard stupid. Stupid, so stupid it goes way beyond the stupid we know into a whole different dimension of stupid. It is trans-stupid stupid. Meta-stupid. Stupid collapsed on itself so far that even the neutrons have collapsed. Stupid gotten so dense that no intellect can escape. Singularity stupid. Blazing hot mid-day sun on Mercury stupid. You emit more stupid in one second than our entire galaxy emits in a year. Quasar stupid. Nothing in our universe can really be this stupid. Perhaps this is some primordial fragment from the original big bang of stupid. Some pure essence of a stupid so uncontaminated by anything else as to be beyond the laws of physics that we know.

Every day this administration puts out another affront to our society, our history, our heritage; everything that stands for the US and that the US stands for.
No way that can ever come near to feeling how uncomfortable it can be to be pregnant. They need to include some syrup of ipecac to get the full effect.
You might as well use a box of crayons to depict the Grand Canyon. That's about how close you'll get.
Yeah, and they have fourteen pregnant women training SEALS too.

If it was really about empathy, like some are pretending, then that would be important. It’s just a training aid, to demonstrate the logistics of physical activity during pregnancy. They aren’t being forced to dress up as pregnant women to learn empathy. They’re training to be physical fitness instructors to pregnant women.

Why don't they just have women instructors then and quit wasting these men's time with worthless training?
