The problem is that the generation who put pen and paper to the legal right to abortion is still in charge. Until every judge, politician, and social services advocate who was part of the legislation is gone, you will not see any change. It’s like one judge overturning another sitting judges ruling. It rarely occurs. Once the judge is dead, it’s routine.

The generation that legalized abortion in 1973 (and before that in several states between 1966 and 1972) has been long out of the picture. The Supreme Court Justices who voted 7-2 for this abomination would be about 110 years old if they were still alive.
