It is sad but not surprising. As long as they stay right of CNN, FOX can pick up new audience as it moves left because conservatives have nowhere to go. Unfortunately, it is not easy to start a new news network, but that’s what’s needed: a news network that would come in at the right of FOX. There is nothing more dangerous to FOX than that eventuality.

They will never allow a truly conservative channel to get picked up by the cable-satellite companies. Plus a news channel would be impossibly expensive as a startup. Maybe a News-Talk Channel would work.
Besides, liberals have all the money it seems.

I have often said that if Limbaugh was really concerned about the conservative cause that he would use his considerable fortune and influence to start such a network.
