It's non-churchgoing "independents" like my 29-year-old daughter we need to worry about. That is who Obama is targeting. She does work with lots of lefties, and they agree with her view of this. It seems that so do some of her empty-headed Facebook friends.

She thinks Obama is right on the contraception issue and overlooks the Constitutional question. My husband and I are still discussing this with her, so far to no avail.

At 29 there is still hope. I know a ton of 20-30 somethings that were so liberal that I was SHOCKED when I saw them again years later and they were even more conservative than me and others on this site. I agree that the non-church independents will be important for sure. I just would like to see an overview of how this is positive for Santorum or negative for Santorum with the religious (mainly for my own interest).

Here's what's going to happen thanks to Obama that would be bad for everybody, religious or not.

I can't speak for other religions, but Catholic organizations are not going to violate their beliefs, regardless of what Obama says. What they will do instead is drop coverage completely or close down hurting everybody. Does she want that? I don't.
