Not if we sit back and expect it to be handed to us. There are a lot of religious Democrats, including Catholics. Conservatives and Tea Party members need to reach out to them and take them away from the Democrats. Anyone whose freedom has been recinded should be openly encouraged to join us.
It is not only Catholics who are upset by this determination by the executive. There are many others, including those who are not at all religious, who are similarly disturbed by the way this tramples on conscience. In addition, the “new decision” that was announced on Friday even expanded the sphere of people who might be disturbed, since the administration revealed that they believe that they can repeal Laws of Economics and simply dictate that something be “free”. They have revealed themselves to be incredibly naive about economic matters by this, in addition to be incredibly naive about Faith and Conscience.
