Presumably, it means anyone who reports their religion as Catholic to an exit pollster. The article is asserting that 52% of those folks favor Zero over the Church on this issue. Not good news, if true.
“The Church is going to learn a hard lesson here. Theyve been sowing the seeds of their destruction for 40 years by trying to have it both ways.”
Napoleon to the Pope: “I will destroy your religion!”
Pope: “Be my guest, Emperor! We sinners have been trying for over 1700 years without success.”

Well then it seems to me the communists in the Obama administration have the support they desire on this issue.
So what the hell are they so worried about then?
they phrase their poll question to avoid the issue...the real question should be “how many of you catholics favor the ceding the government the power to tell the catholic church they must provide support for practices that are contrary to teaching of the church or the government has the power to severely fine the church?”

I’m sure he’ll value your comments every bit as much as I do.
Nit-pick if you are that anal, but Catholics who practice contraception are fallen-away Catholics, whether or not they compound their sin by receiving Communion.
Tell it to Weber. Maybe he’d be interested in your comments.
The Church is quite capable of destroying itself, and given what has happened in the last 40 years, I’d say they’re doing a pretty rapid job of it.
You tell it to Weber, whoever that is.
