A political adviser to President Barack Obama said Tuesday the administration didnt intend to abridge anyones religious freedom with its regulation requiring church-affiliated employers to cover birth control for their workers.
This is an important issue. Its important for millions of women around the country, said Axelrod, the political adviser to Obamas re-election campaign. We want to resolve it in an appropriate way and were going to do that.

Remember that this isn't just about the position we knew Obama would take but it's also about how Obama bamboozled the Catholic Church in agreeing with his Obamacare by claiming religious organizations would be exempt from certain aspects.
Remember Judas and now remember Bart Stupak who happens to be Roman Catholic.

From the article, typical liberal spin: "Religious groups that oppose the regulation say that it forces people of faith to choose between upholding church doctrine and serving the broader society."
Who made the WP god? THEY decide paying for contraception is "serving the broader society"? No, the decision for Catholics is between upholding church doctrine or bowing before the demands of a tyrannical government!

77.7 million Catholics in the US.
Obama just lost the election. I'd say half or fewer care about this issue, even among Catholics. I just pray that 99% of those who care will come to the polls this November and will vote against Obama. If they do, then the socialist in our White House did just lose the election. The far left is correct that their base loves stomping on religious people's rights, but I don't think this will change turnout for the other side, only on the side of innocent babies.

They won in 2008, not only “against” the Catholic Church, but against the Catholic Church with the support of 54% of the members of the Catholic Church.

"I agree with you. I have to think too, that they expected this to cause collateral damage by encouraging a divide between the Catholic Church and many of its American members. Hence the mention of the polls showing that large percentages of American Catholics support abortion and contraception services. Obama's team has made a serious mis-calculation. I think there is a large group of Catholics who may personally favor the availability of contraception, but will react VERY negatively to Obama imposing his views on the Catholic Church. And anyone who is paying attention knows this is simply a first step to including abortion coverage, which is significantly less tolerated in the Catholic community than contraception.

That’s rich. Democrat Axelrod advising lowering voices when it’s the Democrats who specialize in running to the nearest TV camera or open mic to loudly exagerrate, invent or outright lie about anything they think can score points against an opponent.
Axelrod knows he has a loser here. The real key is not to let him turn it around to Barry’s advantage. Proclaim it loud, and even louder now that Axelrod calls for lower voices. Remind people often how Barry’s HHS has overstepped the Constitution and how the rest of his regime continues to do so on a daily basis.
Calls for a lower voice means they’re embarrassed. Good. Let’s keep ‘em that way.

Also, I find it fascinating that the WaPo tries to portray Obama insider David Axelrod as a minor player by describing him as a "political advisor". Axelrod has been a driving force in the Obama Administration from the bginning and he has continued to drive zero further to the left.

Typical Saul Alinsky, Barack Hussein Obama tactic. Create the problem.
Then ‘find’ the solution’ to the problem...
