A small revelation on ‘white folks greed runs a world in need’; The thinking misses that it is only the US Constitution that has ever allowed individuals the freedoms to follow their dreams and to enjoy the prosperity that comes from an individual’s labor.
That’s un-American! It’s the ONLY time I don’t record something on the DVR so I can fast forward through the commercials.
The commercials are part of today’s topics for cripe’s sake. I’m going to blame your BF for this atrocity.
the museum broker feller brought a real one to compare...Rick said of the real one...........how much ?
it was a bunch
It's quite hillarious to behold someone who deserves to go to hell standing in for God and making pronouncements about what He will do unless Rush carries his/her particular agenda to the masses.
Get your own show and carry your own water. See if you can make it on the airwaves for even a week. /s
in my case , the pawn stars loop was after the super bowl
we are a bunch of fly over country here
It’s not his fault; he wanted to watch just for the commercials but I distracted him with Angry Birds and had PS on in the background.
Hey, if the Steelers aren’t in it, why bother? ;-)
Yes but to enjoy the fruits of your labor, you must first labor. ;) Therein lies their quandry.
Doggies ruled on the best SB commercials.
Weego, IMO, was the best. The Sketchers, pug moonwalking across the finish line; VW doggie on a diet; Huskies in the Hyandai all a close second.
“Didnt you know this is Occupy Rush Thread Day?”
Their BIOs can be found in Charles Murray’s “Bell Curve”.
And now in his new book, “Coming Apart”:

RE: Re-gifting
The only problem with re-gifting is that if you’re not careful, or let too much time elapse, you might end up re-gifting the item back to the person who gave it to you in the first place. I’ve been tempted a few times, but then I worry that I will screw up and end up doing just that.
Actually, I do, and he is.
JMHO, the ever-famous IPod “gifted” to HRH could have only wound up in one place:
The British Motor Company Museum (sometimes called the BMC Chamber of Horrors), right next to the sh**can filled with Lucas electrical systems.
Lolz on re-gifting issues. We have a vendor who givs Steeler chatkzes as Christmas gifts. My employers are very midcentury modern and would have to permanently block HGTV if a Black and Gold Snowman appeared in their decor. Anyway, I get the largesse, because they don’t want to keep the stuff incase they “regift incorrectly.”. This year I inherited a sweet snow globe.
Might I suggest a new screen name? How about "anal"
I am just a sucker for beer fetching rescued pups and sneaker wearing pugs.
I saw a great line about the Eastwood ad....”Clint, get off my lawn.”
It is a general principle that applies to all of us. Rush isn’t special in this regard. ( Matthew 25; 14-30)
ROFL—It’s nice that you can benefit from your employer’s different tastes.
