Madonna is an uber perfectionist. Yes, I am sure there was lip synching. However, the sound quality was much better than some other Super Bowl half times as was the camera work.

It wasn’t fully lip-synched. When Madonna tripped stepping up onto the blecshers you could hear it in her voice.
