I have to agree with rodguy911 on this.  I plan on supporting Santorum first here in CO, then Newt second and finally Romney third.  But no matter who wins the nomination I will support our candidate over 0bama.

It should also be noted that IF Romney wins the candidacy, he will be under close scrutiny and pressure from the base to stay conservative and uphold our values.

I understand the outcome in OR since we have had similar experiences here in CO.  But, and it's a huge BUT, there is NO way we can survive as a country if 0bama is reelected.  That's the difference this time around.

In the mean time, here in CO, we will keep working to get more Tea Party aligned candidates elected and we'll grow the base of conservative thinking voters.

Morgan, that is exactly the kind of statement you would be severely pummelled for on less amicable threads.

This primary has brought out insanity in many freepers. I can’t even count how many people have convinced themselves that Romney is as bad or worse than Obama.

This is even though we see daily more and more evidence of the destructive insanity of Obama that cannot be allowed to continue for four years.

Romney doesn’t seem to have strong conservative beliefs or anything that he is particularly fighting for and he would be ... at best ... a do nothing president, but nobody, nobody, nobody is as bad as Obama.

Republicans loosing the election would bring economic paralysis. We’re going to find out you can’t continually spend even if you tax the rich at 100%, and everyone can be on ‘Hoarders’ because we will become that nation of hoarders. Easily predictable. I sure wish the media could see it to compare who’s economic plan has the potential for the most growth?(Newt’s, that’s plain to see)

I just hate it when the left gets to select our candidates.Truth is this race is becoming all about money.Newt needed to get 7 or 8 more Sheldon Adelsons all giving 5 million at a time to stay competitive with Romney If he wants to have a chance at Super Tuesday. Especially in Texas. It has become all about the message and getting it out.Newt has to be able to counter the lies of Mitt Romney's super pacs that have seemingly endless money.

They don't sway us,we are informed. But look what happened in Floriduhhhhh.

I don’t understand the argument that says we can’t afford another 4-years of Obama so we’ll support another liberal instead. Sorry but I vote principles not party. Romney is a Democrat who chose to run on the Republican ticket.
