“Equality” on the battlefield. That’s the problem with little commie fags like this. They think that the battlefield should be “level” and that the enemy should be given all of the information they need in order to make them “equal” with the U.S. military. Execute the little bass turd.
They don’t need to hang him.
A firing squad would do nicely.
“Ron Paul has hailed accused WikiLeaks source Pvt. Bradley Manning as a true patriot.
Mannings Article 32 hearing concluded on Thursday just days after he turned 24 years of age. Manning is facing life in prison or even the death penalty.
Stress related to the military policy against gay and bisexual troops serving openly contributed to mental and emotional problems that should have barred [Manning] from having access to sensitive material, Mannings lawyers argued in court.
Paul hailed Manning as a hero during a rally held in January.
If we have an American citizen and hes willing to take the consequences and practice civil disobedience and say, This is what our government is doing, should he locked up and imprisoned? Paul rhetorically asked to a handful of nos. Or should we, you know, see him as a political hero? Maybe he is a true patriot who reveals what is going on in government.”
Video at infowars.com showing Paul saying same.
Hey, one of the classic rules of the civil disobeyer was the willingness to eat the penalty. This does not even rise to that level. Not to mention that apparently Assange glommed on to a much larger body of classified “gossip” than he has told about yet — and heaven knows who’s got it now. It’s not like it’s simply in Assange’s head.
This ought to simply sink Paul coming as it did from the horse’s mouth.
Duh! I mean Manning not Assange
Well, legally all charges were referred to a single court-martial. So facts trump even grammar and spelling exercises.
“low-ranking intelligence analyst”
“the biggest leak of classified information in U.S. history”
Is it just my imagination, or something here just doesn’t fit?
Good point, he is a waste of good rope. I was going to say he needs a bullet to the back of the head, but I bet he’d like it from behind. So middle of the forehead is probably more appropriate.
A firing squad would do nicely.
A firing squad is counted as "an honorable death" in military circles, whereas hanging is not. YMMV...

Although I believe Manning to be guilty of treason, I’m concerned about how he had access to so much information and that he could spirit that information out so easily. As a vet with a clearance, I’ve encountered situations where much damage could be done if dishonorable people were willing to take advantage of the system because there were few systemic controls in place to restrict the movement of information.
