I was taught in my conceal and carry class that if someone is trying to kidnap you, a women, start screaming the worse obscenities you can think of. As loud as you can, cuss like a barroom tramp. He said men who kidnap woman usually look for the quiet submissive woman and that’s why he chose you. He said forget your a Christian, and raise hell, God will understand. I learned a lot in that class. The teacher was an retired attorney turned minister turned gun collector/firearm trainer...what a guy. He also said never get into a car, fight, run, do whatever because once your in the car your chances of getting away safely are low.
I cannot imagine more foolish advice. Go ballistic. Scream, scratch (tissue samples for later whether you’re alive or dead), kick, bite, and if you happen to be armed, take as many of the bastards with you as you possibly can. There are no benign kidnappings except in the movies. They will do things to you to encourage the ransom payment if that’s even what they’re after, which you will not know from the outset. They will cut off bits of you and send them home in little boxes. They will kill you to prevent a witness. Never, never, NEVER cooperate!

I know I read somewhere I can’t remember that if you are a child or woman and a man grabs you and puts you in his car, you have a much higher percentage of surviving if you grab the steering wheel and cause a head on collision then you do by sitting quietly and hoping he’ll let you go after he does what he’s going to do. Oh, you might get shot or stabbed you say? If you go with them you are very likely dead anyway. If you are going to be injured, it's better if you are somewhere familiar to you where help is readily available, instead of in some remote location miles from help if you knew which way to go.

It really depends on the situation, but if it’s a small-timer (or even several people) carjacking you in a public place, NEVER, EVER, go with them. In general they will give up on you if you fight them loud and hard. If not, they’ll kill you there, which is still better than what they had in store for you.

Kidnappings happen in violent ways by being snatched. Nearly every person snatched is later killed.
Fight back immediately and violently. Kill the SOBs. Picture them dead in their own pools of blood. Picture them slaughtered in a mass of unrecognizable blood and guts. Then make it happen, immediately. Not later. Not in a few seconds. Not one there is an “opportunity”. Every millisecond means they have an advantage. Kill them, kill them NOW!
I used to teach self defense to women. I start the first class by grabbing on from behind. I then ask her what she imagined, and everyone imagines the bad guy on top of her raping her. I have to change that for them. They instead need to imagine the bad guy dead with his blood all over the place because she raged on his ass. She shot him, knifed him, poked his eyes out, ripped off his lips, and stabbed him repeatedly, slit his throat, whatever violence it takes for him to be dead right there right now.
Kidnap victims, same thing. Whatever violence it takes.
