A hacker group known as Anonymous took responsibility Friday for defacing a website and stealing files and emails from attorneys who represented Camp Pendleton's Frank Wuterich in a case involving the deaths of 24 Iraqi civilians.
Wuterich's lead attorney, Neal Puckett, confirmed the intrusion and apparent theft from him and his partner, Haytham Faraj.

Puckett said he has filed a complaint with the FBI over the hacking.
The group that got into his website says it plans to release information it found about the Haditha case. Puckett said he is equally concerned about the theft and possible release of confidential matters between the attorneys and all their clients.

Earlier reports were saying 3 GB, so I’m not sure what the actual number is.

All I know is my computer tells me this:

It’s a massive amount of material. I’m already going blind and I haven’t seen anything of any significance.
WW III is coming, and we’ll have not quite enough soldiers to fight one war. But they’ll all have been thoroughly prepared in sensitivity training. Ditto for the navy.
If it contains classified information or sensitive personal information, and if you hold a Government clearance, you CANNOT download it.
Nothing would surprise me, but any suit would have to be in a US court, and they'd sue the Feds, not Frank. I think a lawsuit is probably just Raq bluster.
BTW,I'm no lawyer, but since this stuff is stolen, is it even admissable as evidence?

Regarding our music history program - Now that the script and music surgeries are assembled (thanks, and "wow", to Owen!), we are at the stage of playing thru repeatedly to achieve a smooth rehearsed flow for continuous delivery, starts, and consistent running time. This will now allow us to run the program through completely once at subsequent rehearsals for about an hour, work out rough spots, and start working on other music pieces.
Also as we discussed last Friday, in an effort to be flexible in scheduling, we hope to "season" our practices with some times other than Friday nights. As discussed, we will rehearse this coming Saturday, Feb 4th, at 9 a.m.. This will be a shorter-than-normal session so as to free the rest of our day. (We'll run the history progarm only.)
Rehearsal will be at Aldersgate, but not in the choir room. That is booked for the church choir. Suggest you still enter via the back entrance. I'll have us set up in either the Gubeck Center, or one of the larger classrooms in the middle wing.

Here’s a newflash! Puckett got an offer to save up to 77% on fitness classes in Northern Virginia.
Oh, and as of Tuesday, 3 January, the main parking lot in front of the Arlington Clubhouse became part of the construction area. They claim that they will have 15 parking spots and 7 handicap spaces in this area. Additional parking will continue to be available in the North Parking area.
I’m not saying there’s nothing here—but it’s all crap so far.
I'll bet they're a flock of flaming fairies.
Lets hope every damn one of those emails are just as irrelevant as that one, it would sure burst those turkeys bubble.

In one thread, Neal Puckett accepts congratulations from a friend on January 25th for securing plea deal. "Thanks, Ginny!" he writes "We were all over the TV and Internet. Google me!"

There's so many emails that they don't have the manpower to check this out for weeks. They're relying on hundreds of people on the Internet to uncover something for them and if anyone comes up with the slightest thing they'll blow it up out of all proportion.
I say screw them, if anything is found it should be conveyed by email so they don't have access to it.
Or freepmail!

It's a pretty smart idea.
First of all, shame on this law office for not having better internet security. Second, I prefer that all of this stuff be dumped on the public in its entirety rather than hoarded and teased out for months. Third, remember that it was a similar dump of emails that exposed the "global warming" scam and killed that malicious scheme before real damage was done.
I will be very interested to see what comes out of this.
