You're probably being realistic. I'd love to have someone ride into DC on Jan 20, 2013 and immediately demolish multiple agencies, get energy exploration going to the point we can thumb our noses at the Saudis, rid the nation of abortion and gay marriage, restore us to full employment, eliminate the entitlement mentality from our country and get rid of Obama care.

I really, really want this but what is realistic? I'd love to replace every member of congress with a true conservative--all agreeing with me, of course, but somehow I don't think that will happen.

I guess we're stuck with getting the best we can and calling it a victory. That means voting out every Democrat we can possibly get rid of.

I doubt that this would happen ever as the Saudis have been "petroleum partners" with America since 1926. While the rest of the oil-producing countries stuck it to the gas guzzlers of the world, the Saudis kept THEIR prices down.

The partnership has also been shown as the Saudi riyal has stayed fairly fixed over the decades. It was at a low of 3.1 riyals to the dollar and is now only 3.75 riyals to the dollar. That's fairly static compared to the beating the dollar has taken from other countries.

I KNOW how un-p.c. and how unpopular it is to say ANYthing positive about the Saudis, but the truth is that they are as close to friends as we will ever have in the Muslim Near/Middle East.
