It’s convenient to have a candidate like Gingrich who attracts the unserious, the unpresidential, the uninformed and the unpalatable all in one convenient locale. It saves the time and effort needed to determine who is a credible Republican and who is not (Gingrich supporters). The move is yet another boost for Rick Santorum, who definitely is in the category of responsible and credible candidates (whatever you think of his views) and has been struggling to wean the base off its attraction to Gingrich.

I have to wonder if JRubin is working on Obama’s behalf because I just don’t see how Romney’s supporters think bashing conservatives and calling them names is going to win there support. Her bashing of Perry, Cain, Sarah, Newt, and their supporters makes mr very angry.

There is no difference between Romney and BHO.
BHO will campaign by saying “why vote for Romney when you all ready have me”.
It was denied early on by the Gingrich campaign and I believe them. The romney campaign four years ago as well in this cycle have been shown to lie, distort and to be un-principled.

Sad part is that Romney is doing all this dirty work against Newt with the help of the establishment, FOX, Drudge etc and then when they need the base they will say we need to unite and many will.

Romney will not take obama on, he will nto go after obama or do investigations into obama, Holder, etc if in power, he will appoint liberal judges and he certainly will not release the documents which obama has sealed .
When homosexuals, liberals etc don’;t mind Romney then we know we have a liberal running.

News sources aren’t exactly reliable. Newt’s people say it didn’t come from them. They said they had not been in contact with Trump.
If Romney wins, the GOP will have effectively rendered conservatives/tea partiers irrelevant. Once again, we'll have democrat liabilities on the credit of conservatives.
