Who is celebrity mogul Donald Trump going to endorse in the Republican presidential nomination contest?

The Associated Press reports that Trump plans to endorse former House speaker Newt Gingrich in Las Vegas today.

But CNN is reporting that Trump is going to endorse former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.

Both cite anonymous sources.

AP cites a “source close to Gingrich’s campaign.” But the news service also quoted Gingrich saying Wednesday that he had “no idea what the Donald is going to do.”

“Trump is the only person who knows what Trump will do,” said Gingrich campaign spokesman R.C. Hammond.

What ever one might say about Trump, he is a master of media manipulation.

Here he is creating suspense about his announcement by leaking conflicting stories.

Who cares? Reports don’t conflict (mostly).

He won’t know until just before he steps up to the mike. He’s got to get the last minute over-under first.
It’s all about him, money and him and money.

I still say he’s going with Newt. Newt wanted to go to the Trump debate - Romney didn’t. Trump didn’t forget. Also - who is spreading the Romney rumors? Drudge and CNN. Doesn’t that tell you something? We’ll see.

You are correct. I sure wouldn’t want to be endorsed by Trump. Can’t stand him.

Trump will endorse Romney as payback for being bailed out by George Soros in 2008 and 2009. The Soros fix is in.

Not to mention, Mittens, IMO, is too much like Trump. And, I don’t think Trump likes having two of him in the spotlight.

“What ever one might say about Trump, he is a master of media manipulation.”

Only because the media is filled with drooling idiots, bringing content to drooling idiots.

Why anyone would care what Donald Trump has to say about politics is beyond me. Trump has proven he’s a self serving attention whore. No more, no less.

Actually, the pundits, speculators and armchair political commandos have it all wrong.

He's going to endorse Ron Paul!

Absolutely.

As a former New Yorker, I have watched Trump for years. Like most real New Yorkers, he a "what you see is what you get" kind of person (except for his hair, of course. That's a mystery).

So is Newt.

Romney on the other hand is a complete fake.

But I might be wrong about his endorsement...after all, I donated to the Perry and the Cain campaigns and look what that got me.;-)

Trump is a successful businessman and in that sense, he could take Romney apart at the seams in ways that we can’t do.

You may not like him personally but I don’t see how his endorsement of Newt can hurt.

Mittens dissed him and yes, Trump will punish him.
Kinda like B’OR who puts you on his black list if you refuse to come on his show.
