In a new national radio ad released Wednesday, Rick Santorum lambasted Newt Gingrich over the former House speaker's declining poll numbers and second place finish in Florida's primary.
"Despite spending millions, Newt Gingrich went from a big lead to a big defeat. Why? Because voters discovered Gingrich wasn't a true conservative," the narrator says in the ad.

Okay, Santorum.
Our relationship is hereby over.
To think I’ve defended you on this forum from people saying you should get out.
Now, I am saying, Get out Rick Santorum, I never liked you.
Why aren’t you attacking Romney, you little sneak?
Well if you wish to stake your argument on my error in 125, while disregarding the immediate correction at 126, so that you could bug out in 138, you’ve not much discussion in you anyway. But then we all knew that anyway.
I recall Santorum sticking it to Romney pretty good mano a mano at the debate, while Newt just stood there like a pudgy potted plant.
Who doesn’t remember that moment, it was unique, I imagine the Romney needs some assistance from Santorum to help him shape his Obama/Romneycare defenses anyway, it is better to do it now than in a 2 man race against Gingrich when he can be pinned against a wall with it.
Romney wants Santorum to stay in the race
I’m glad you agree — especially as you’re one of FR’s most spot-on posters, IMO.

Whoop de doo.
