AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and he’s not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (that’s Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! America’s anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do—that’s host. Get ready to what you were born to do—that’s listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

I realize that. It’s just a frustrating process for an impatient person like myself.

I wouldn’t have confidence in Ron Paul of knowing when it was a time to go to war, I see him making excuses not to. Yes, I think Newt has to wing a lot of what he has done, but it is clear Newt articulates and understands the problem like no one else, and he may be following what he sees as doing the right thing, being the others have been falling short(for example the debate skills improvement, Alinsky, confronting bias media, January 3 plan for House and Senate...big one, best economic plan)

Hey, at least my vote in the Tennessee primary is relevant now. In most recent cycles, there was an anointed one by the time I could vote.

True. I’m not one of those looking for 100% of my values, beliefs, goals etc in one candidate. It’s impossible. Until then we will be giving liberals ammunition against us.

I wouldn’t have confidence in Ron Paul to coherently articulate anything to the American electorate outside his cult; nor would I have confidence in him attracting any voters not already in his fold to his flock.

“I just want Obumma out. Period. End of story.”

I would think that his dictating what churches do, via the contraception issue in Catholic organizations, would open him up for impeachment. He’s done some wreched things, but this is the worst, and he slid it in during the chaos of GOP primary voting hoping there’d be minimal coverage. When the gubmint decrees what a church can’t/can’t do, we’re done.

I’m not Catholic, and contraception wasn’t a problem for me, but when Hussein attacks one church for any reason, we’re all potential victims.

I agree. His open hostility and direct challenges to religious freedoms are sickening.

Missed the caller. Had a phone call.

IIRC, Noot failed to get signatures from every county. He received the requisite number; but didn’t meet the residency requirements. I don’t think it was a conspiracy in as much as it was a failure to carefully parse the regulations.

So you support the destruction of the dollar? However, I agree with you about his nutjob isolationist theories.

yeah - those are our options - ‘destruction of the dollar’ or the wackjob ron paul theories

tell me - how can we back the dollar with gold when there is not enough gold on the planet?

why is it desirable to limit monetary expansion by tying it to gold?

if ron paul’s wet dream of abolishing ‘the fed’ is realized, who would perform its functions? politicians?

I’m not happy with any of ‘em.

But I am tired of the whining. And the fantasies. And the illusion of perfection some have of their preferred candidate.

Glad to hear the grandson is home. :) Hope he stays well and you, too.

I am still waiting to hear what the “big thing” you talked about last week happening THIS week, is..
Or at least, you could give us a hint, so we continue to circle the “bait”
