Sundays Super Bowl halftime ad break is still almost a week away, but you can get a sneak peek at Hondas new Ferris Bueller-inspired spot by clicking below. In fact, youll get a whole lot more than a peek: This is the full two-and-a-half minute version of Matthew Broderick reprising his role in an homage to the iconic 1986 John Hughes comedy. The clip that will be broadcast during halftime where ad time costs $3.5 million for 30 seconds will be only one minute long.

Yep, I noticed most of that (didn’t see the lamp); took three viewings. Where was the fringed jacket?
Girl in the parade scene. Where we also saw the three construction workers from Ferris Bueller. My assistant (who knows the movie better than I do) says that "Walter Linder," the name on the desk of the agent/movie mogul who calls Broderick at the beginning of the commercial, is the name above Abe Froeman's on the reservation list in the restaurant in the movie. And the guy behind Broderick at the race track has the pineapple glass that Ferris drinks out of in the movie.
And (per her) when Broderick stops at the light and two people cross the street? One's the flower delivery guy (from the English department) from the movie. And the framed picture from the Bueller's refrigerator was in the movie executive's office. She's busting at the seams with ones that I not only didn't notice in the commercial, but I don't even remember the reference to the original movie.
Well lol, couldn’t resist when I saw that.
Imagine if my handle was “I love the movie Ishtar”.
THAT would be a long wait, lol.
