His reasoning is, there is a bigger problem we will be facing, which is the Supreme Court. We all have strong voices with our house and Senate representatives and if we can get control of the Senate and keep the house, then we have a voice to keep Mitt in check. Where as, we have no control over Obama.
Now I don't like any of this and I am not sure I could vote for McCain's clone.
Most here, I did, that in 08. But long term thinking is perplexing to me.
All I can say is for right now, get out and man the Newt stations in your area so I do not have to even think about the consequences!

If the tea party in Florida truly went for Mitt, than this will probably happen all across the country ? Sad.
Mitt will NEVER appoint a Conservative. If Mitt or Obama gets it is over - the Statists will consolidate power and further trample upon our Liberty.
Mitt will NEVER get my vote. If the system must collapse, let it be with a Marxist.
The sooner the system can implode, the sooner we can start the rebuilding process. Mitt would only delay the rebuilding by coasting through 4 years until the next Statist gets in to finish us off.
Still, I have great faith that Mitt will not get the nomination. It is a dark night, but there is always another day to fight.
At the start of the next debate when Newt is asked the first question he needs to ignore the question, pivot to Willard the liberal and say.

No more Mr. nice guy for Newt Gingrich. He either calls out this rotten son-of-a-bitch liberal or he loses the nomination to him. Nothing much can be done about the blitz of lying campaign ads, except to run your own. But debates he can control. The exit polls after SC and Florida said the debates were one of the primary factors people used in deciding who to vote for. Newt can not let the lowlife bastard Romney get one up on him again.
