Good point about the Supreme Court. We have to face reality, I guess.
If the tea party in Florida truly went for Mitt, than this will probably happen all across the country ? Sad.
As disappointed as I am in the result of this primary, I will say that Romney just gave a strong victory speech.
I applaud you for taking the long-term view. I too will support anyone but Obama for that very reason, all it will take is one more liberal on the SCOTUS and our last check-and-balance against runaway socialism will be in jeopardy.
I look at it this way: George W Bush told us he was a “compassionate conservative” and certainly did some things that veered very far from conservative principles. Yet he appointed Justice Samuel Alito and Chief Justice John Roberts, two outstanding jurists who understand their role in protecting America.
For me, preventing Obama from appointing another Sotomayor or Kagan is all the reason I need to vote for the GOP candidate. Even a weak conservative President will do more to protect the Republic than any liberal democrat will.
Do you have a TEA Party registration card? I don't. There are no TEA party card carriers. The TEA Party is being dragged into this by the media and GOP-e because they KNOW none of it can be validated, killing two birds with one stone.
Anyone claiming "Republican" after last week and what is currently being foisted on us can immediately be marked down as "genuine stupid party member". The GOP and DNC are in a race for socialsim. The GOP keeps making left hand turns, the DNC is cashing in marketing the whole race.
