We saw Newt’s Tampa speech the other day with Michael Reagan & Herman Cain. After the speech, we watched him make his way through the crowd (surprised C-Span showed it). That was almost as good as the speech .... lots of folks coming up and talking to him. He signed, smiled, posed for pictures, seemed to listen when someone had something to say. Good stuff. BTW, Callista was extremely gracious - many folks wanted her autograph.
I met Newt and Calista in NH earlier this month. She surprised me...very gracious and made good eye contact.

Newt is genuine and friendly to the people who come to hear him..
He really appreciates them taking the time...and he lets them know that...
He doesnt act like hes the inconvienced king and youre at an audience where you have to bow and do obeisance. as a subject and peon.....
