They have to wait until the panhandle is done voting, and that won’t be until 7 CST.
But you can bet they are chompin’ at the bit to call it for their Mitt. *gag*
So how do I get on the right Twitter ..page?
I have to say it seemed light but with a steady trickle of people. I voted after work.
I just found the thread. Have to go back later and read what’s been posted. I dread these numbers.
Before I start reading this thread -
I will never vote for Mittens. I don’t give a damn. If this country is so screwed up that romney is their choice - they can KMA. Bunch of friggin surrendering losers. 0bummer can have it. I’ll move to plan B. F’em!

Imho however - especially on a primary night - a couple of the others up there seem a tad less than 'Breaking'.
Anyway, we're keepin' our fingers crossed in here, and those that care to are prayin' their heinies off
(most especially the agitprop from that drudge shill)
IF ORomney would have run a campaign of ideas and what makes him different than Gingrich, Santorum or Paul then if at the point where he gets the Republican nomination I would have gotten behind him (baggage and all.)
However, he slashed and burned his way to the nomination and did nothing but tarnish the Republican party and the conservative cause in the process.
I can not and will not in good faith get behind a man that is willing to destroy everything that our party stands for just to win a primary. Period, end of story.
I think he left out the part about the nominee having to be substantially different from Obama.
That’s a tough one. I’d be tempted to vote for Ron Paul simply because Romney is such a phony.
Well, it is almost 7pm EST. How long before Faux News calls it for Romney?
7:01 EST
There are MANY more primaries to go. You are absolutely right about that. I'm not ready to declare Romney the winner of the "whole dang pie" either.
But David Limbaugh is no idiot. He chooses his words carefully. And in his own words, he urges us to vote for the eventual winner of the GOP primary, whoever that may be.
But as David Limbaugh knows, no honest conservative can vote for the gun-grabbing, pro-abortion, pro-homosexualist, statism-loving socialist that is Mitt Romney. So he couches his words coyly, in an effort to appeal to the "reason" of conservatives. How does he do this? By claiming that as a Santorum supporter, he is a true-blue conservative. He understands us. He is one of us. He knows what is best for the country.
And then he drops the bomb: (Paraphrashing): "But if the conservative Santorum doesn't win, it is incumbent upon all of us, as good conservatives, to still support the GOP nominee to defeat Obama."
Limbaugh knows perfectly well that if the nominee is Gingrich, conservatives will support him. We already do. That's understood. So, in effect, Limbaugh is asking conservatives to vote for that which they vociferously oppose today: Romney.
That's why I claim Limbaugh's "support" of Santorum is disingenuous, misleading, manipulative, and cynical.
Early vote totals broward co (this does not include vote by mail)
Newt 7682
mittens 14355
Miami Dade numbers are not up yet.
Santorum and Romeny are tag-teaming Newt.
Sandtorum’s already running anti-Newt ads in Colorado. (Where he got the money is apparently unimportant.)
We’re likely to have a Romney/Santorum ticket.
If you believe Santorum will end ObamaCare-—just remember this pawn will be the Vice President. Pretty boy Mitt won’t allow it.
They need to start writing their concession speeches now because I am out of the “good little Republican soldier” business.
I will rebuild America with a third party.
I’m gonna go do crossword puzzles - and talk to my dog - maybe take a walk = prob’ly not the later, its dark, cold and spitting snow - guess I’ll stick to puzzles
Didn't mean it that way. I meant the people have to get together or we're going to lose this country and if we get together we can win. We've done it before.
But I don't think running Rick Santorum out of the race is the answer. We need to see if Newt can get his organization up and fight effectively before we trash our only other hope. No matter how you feel about Santorum, he's head and shoulders above Romney.
