“If Romney wins by anything close to the 14% shown in the exit polls, this thing is over”
I’m not convinced.

My husband and I both voted for Newt!
Pretend you're democrats or dead people, and go vote again.

Yes, David Limbaugh is for Santorum. But in a long piece today from Townhall.com, David Limbaugh concludes his endorsement for Santorum by saying this:
"I am the first to say that once the GOP nominee is chosen, we must unite around the candidate to defeat Barack Obama."
In my opinion, David Limbaugh might as well come out and support Romney. That's the net effect of his disingenuous "support" for Santorum.
Yeah. It's sickening.

Newt’s not going to give up, and I expect him to come out fighting.
Romney is all teeth and hair and hot air. That only goes so far.

Yes indeed;)
In fact - I determined today that the only people whose judgement I trust are my family members and FReeper FRiends.
Putting no more confidence in Drudge, Rush, Fox or any of the other so called conservative twits whose motivation is money and power.
They have sold us pigs in pokes for far too long. From this point forward I will never trust - only verify.

If Romney wins by anything close to the 14% shown in the exit polls, this thing is over... No debates for a month, a Romney win the media will trumpet next week, etc. The meme will have been set.
Don't despair. No matter what happens, it is far from over. It will be difficult because there will be an unrelenting crescendo from FAUX and the rest of the MSM and GOP-e to beat us down.
I have followed Sarah very closely, since before 08. I think if they start the "it's over" campaign, it will finally draw her out to start the final push to destroy Mitt. She has been playing it brilliantly so far, helping in S.C. but no outright endorsing.
She held back a bit in FL to see Newt suffer the evil lying attacks of Mitt. I think she knows no matter what evil Mitt unleashes he will not destroy Newt out in FL.
By laying back, she will have more impact when she finally gets to join the battle against Mitt and the rest of the slimy GOP-e. I have absolutely no doubt that she will join Newt on the campaign and take it right at Mitt. Like most here, Sarah loves our Republic and will not stand by and let the arrogant, vile, utterly corrupt GOP-e help Mitt brutalize conservatives on his way to losing to the Marxist.
If Mitt squeaks out a win, just don't tune into FAUX news and the rest of the GOP-e.

What I like about following live political events on twitter is that the media employees (so-called ‘reporters’) will report things they shouldn’t in their efforts to be first.
Things they, or their editors, will later suppress in favor of the ‘meme’.
I don’t ‘tweet’ myself- it’s mostly media and kids.
Two groups I avoid LOL!

However, his statement is also true if Newt wins and I’m not ready to give up. You’re assumption is that Romney will be then nominee. I’m not ready to declare him the winner of the whole dang pie.

I don’t think the candidates are the problem, we are. We were able to unite and have Scott Brown win in MA, huge turnover in the House and gains in the Senate. We’ve done all that because we’ve united behind a cause.
We need to do that again, money bombs, volunteers, and communication with the grassroots. We can do it, I know we can. Don’t let them beat us down.

FL is so predictable. When was the last time they brought forth a real surprise? I cant recall.
In my opinion, I believe that due to the terrible economic situation, and Obama trying to turn us into a socialist welfare state, there are many regular folks in Florida who've decided to take up the torch of grass roots activism and become more informed and more active in politics. I also think there are more people voting here than ever before, for the same reasons. I wouldn't be too shocked if Florida turned out surprising everyone. We'll see.
